i cannot even count
how many years have passed
since you left me to
start a new life.
i tried to hold on but you
didn't want me to..
now it's years later,
and i'm still stuck here
with thoughts of you still
swirling around my mind.
as i try to figure out what
everything meant and
what feelings and connection we have.
