it's a string along the generations,
or rather a pattern bound to be continued..
dating back from our great-grandparents who neglected and forgot to nurture their own,
leading to the next generation not knowing any other way cause they simply weren't taught how.
our parents do not know how to nurture us and provide properly because they are so
caught up in their own lives and
figuring out how to care for
themselves, that they forget
we also need to figure out
how to care for us.
it's a pattern because no one
before us taught us how,
i do not wish to follow in the pattern,
but i need to learn nurture first.
