I ran and ran until I saw my house, not so far from where I was. When I reached home, I knocked on the door about three times. After a few minutes, the door opened to reveal my mum who was wearing an apron around her waist. "Zoe?! What are you doing here?" asked my mum while opening the door for me. "Mum. Everyone knows." I said quietly. "What did you say, honey?" my mum asked me. "EVERYONE KNOWS!" I yelled before breaking down, crying. "It's okay, honey. It's not your fault." my mum said, trying to comfort me. The room was silent for a minute until I heard something coming down the stairs. I turned around to see a beautiful white wolf looking straight at me. "OPAL!" I cried while running towards my pet who I haven't seen in a few weeks. Opal is a white wolf who has been in my family ever since I was born. She was at the vet for a few weeks because some virus had infected her. "The doctor called me and told me that I could go and pick her up. He said she has recovered fully and is now well again." my mum said to me while smiling. I hugged Opal tightly while brushing her fur. "I missed you," I said.

I went into my room, followed by Opal. I slammed the door shut and leaned against the door.

"I don't know what to do, Opal," I said, feeling confused and scared at the same time. Opal just sat down in front of me and tilted her head, listening carefully.

Alright, look, I know I might seem to be overreacting a bit but thing is, it wasn't just my eye color that changed. My eyes changed from human to wolf. And I know that for a fact because that happens when I'm really angry. It's like instead of taking over the soul of the wolf constellation, it's taking over me.

"I just can't control my powers sometimes, especially when I'm angry," I said while covering my face. Suddenly, I felt something heavy on my legs. I opened my eyes to see Opal lying down on my legs while closing her eyes. I just giggled a bit while brushing her fur with my fingers.

"I need some advice from someone who has crazy abilities like me,"I said to myself. I got up and decided to ask my mum for advice. Since my mum was the one who gave me my powers, I thought she would be the perfect person to talk to. I went to her room and knocked on it. At first, no one answered so I tried to open the door and it opened. I walked in and looked around her room. When I thought of going downstairs to find for my mum, something caught my attention. It was a wooden box. I walked towards it and observed it closely. I suddenly felt the urge to open it and so I did. I was shocked and surprised at the same time because the only thing I saw was letters. I took a letter in my hand and started to read it. When I read the first sentence, I was already in tears.

"Zoe, where are yo- ," Just when my mum wanted to finish her sentence, she saw me. With the letters. "WHEN ARE YOU GONNA TELL ME THAT I HAD AN ELDER BROTHER?!!" I screamed. My mum's expression turned sad. "Zoe. I was gonna tell you. But I didn't want you to get upset." she said while walking towards me. I calmed down, well at least I tried. "Tell me everything," I said, still sounding a bit angry. My mum nodded. "Of course. But before I tell you about your brother, you need to know more about your father." my mum said while motioning me to sit on the bed, beside her. I stood up and plopped down on the bed.

"You see, your father was a-" she paused, hesitating about what she was about to say next.

"My father was a what, mum?"

"A pirate,"

"You know, mum I don't think this is the right time to be joking around," I said angrily. How in the world did she expect me to believe such statement.

"I'm not joking, Zoe!" she raised her voice and that's when I realized she wasn't lying.

"Dad was a pirate?" I repeated and she nodded.

"You told me dad was an engineer! And that there was an accident that caused his death!

"I was protecting you from the truth, Zoe. You have to try to understand  that," she said. After that, I went silent and let her speak. I wanted to know everything. Every truth and lie that my mother has ever told me.

My dad loved the sea. He would sail for months with his crew, not caring about anything in the world. But one day, he needed some help for a mission he was going on. He arrived at the village my mum lived in and asked helped from the villagers. Apparently, he need help from someone who could read the stars better than any pirate. My mum volunteered. She wanted to test out her powers and see what she could do. Falling in love with my dad was never part of her plan but it happened.

"After a year, your brother was born, and we named him Xavier Adonia Blackheart ." my mum said while holding one of the letters. "When your brother was 5 years old, your father left home, to go on a journey, and a dangerous one too, if I might add." my mum said, looking down. She took a deep breathe and look at me. "And that's the last time we ever saw him," she said in a sad tone. My eyes were wide as ever like I just saw a ghost. "Then what about Xavier, did he go as well?" I asked, curious as ever. My mum shook her head as in to say no. "Your brother stayed at home, and after a year, you were born," she said while smiling at me. "Wait. He was here when I was born? Then, how come I don't remember him?" I asked again.

"Calm down my child, I'm getting to that part. Your brother left when he was 9 years old. He wanted to see his father so bad, that he decided to take the risk of finding him." my mother said while looking at the letters again. This got me even more confused. "You let your first child go on a journey to find his dead father...ALONE?!?!" I asked with my eyes wide open.

"I didn't know what he was planning, alright! And when I found out it was too late for me to do anything," she replied and I felt bad right away.

"Well, the truth is, he wasn't alone. He was with his cousins," she said to me, and this got me even more excited and confused at the same time.

"WHAT?!? I have cousins with different abilities too?!?" I asked, a little too loud. My mum just chuckled and nodded. I tried to calm down but I just couldn't. "But you do have a younger cousin brother who is still here. He was too young to follow your brother and the others on their journey." she continued, and this got my attention. 'If I have a younger cousin, maybe he could come with me to find my brother' I thought to myself.

"What's his name?" I asked, out of nowhere.

 "Lucas Helen Silverwalker,"

"Mum, do you think Lucas can help me on my journey," I asked, wishing for yes as a reply. "Journey? Journey to where?" my mum asked while she raised her eyebrow.

"Journey to find my brother of course. I mean it's not my fault he's in the middle of the ocean with my cousins?!?!" I yelled, trying not to get mad again.

"Calm down honey. I only ask 'where'. I didn't say you couldn't go." she said, putting her hand on my shoulder. My eyes were wide open, filled with excitement.

"Wait, you're letting me go? You're not gonna stop me?"

"I couldn't stop Xavier. What makes you think I can stop you?"

"True,"
