"Zoe! Wake up, you got to see this!" Lucas shouted. I jolted up from my sleeping bag and ran towards where Lucas was standing.
"What?! What is it?!" I asked, or more like screamed.
"There. Look, it's Tilos," he said to me while pointing to the direction of the island.
"Oh wow. It is Tilos. But was it really necessary to scare the hell out of me?!" I shouted at my cousin, who just laughed out loud. Soon, Opal was awoken by the loud noises. She walked towards the both of us and looked at me.
"Awww. I'm sorry I woke you Opal, but guess what, we're here," I told Opal, who just howled with joy.
As we got closer, we realized that there was something covering the entire island.
"What is that?" Lucas asked while squinting his eyes.
"I don't know. It looks like some kind of mist." I replied.
"Should we go through it? It could be a trap," said Lucas who was trying to make out the island behind the white mist.
"I'm willing to take that risk," I said. I knew that the island we were seeing was no ordinary island. Lucas and I got ready to attack when our ship went through the mysterious white mist. When we passed through the mist we weren't expecting anything like what we saw. We saw a beautiful forest filled with trees and vines. We could hear birds whistling and singing. It was paradise!
"WOW! I definitely wasn't expecting this!" exclaimed Lucas, who still couldn't believe what he was seeing.
"I know, me too," I replied, still amazed myself.
We got off the ship using the rope ladder after we found dry land. We tied our ship on a big piece of log, so it wouldn't go anywhere.
"This place is pretty huge if I do say so myself," Lucas said after helping me get our bags from the ship.
"You're right about that. Wanna go exploring?" I asked, seeing my cousins face lit up.
"Of course, I do. You don't have to ask me twice,"
"Come on then, let's go," I said while walking ahead of him with Opal at my heels. Lucas soon caught up with us before we could go any further.
"So, where are we going?" Lucas asked out of nowhere.
"To be honest, I don't know myself, but that's the point about exploring, right?" I asked.
"I guess so," he replied while laughing a little. We were both talking about magical creatures that may be living on this island when suddenly I heard something behind the trees.
"Shhh. You hear that?" I asked Lucas, who stopped in his track right away.
"Show yourself!" I said to whatever was hiding behind the trees.
"I will, but you have to promise me that you won't attack." said a small voice. Lucas and I looked at each other and back to the place where we heard the voice.
"We promise," I replied calmly. Suddenly, a cute creature who resembled a little girl stepped out from the shadows. Both me and Lucas were startled. Well, who could blame us, we don't get to see magical creatures every once in a while, even Opal was startled.
"Hi, my name is Elvina, and I'm a fairy," she said out of nowhere.
"Hi, my name is Zoe and I'm an astrology wizard. My cousin, Lucas here, is a spirit wizard and this is Opal, my pet wolf." I said while pointing at the both of them.
"You guys seem nice. Do you want a tour of our forest?" Elvina asked cheerfully. Before I could answer her, another fairy flew to Elvina's side and she looked way scarier.
