"So, what do you know about the island?" asked Dylan.

"To be honest, I don't know anything about it," I replied truthfully.

We looked at Angelo who was behind the wheels for some answers but he shook his head reply.

We then turned towards Lucas who was standing right beside us. "Do you really think I know?" he asked while raising one of his eyebrows.

"It was worth a shot," Dylan said sarcastically, making me chuckle.

"I do," Daphne spoke while walking up to the quarterdeck where the rest of us were.

"It has changed over the past few years." she continued.

"Changed? How?" Lucas asked, confused.

"Well for starters, Harmonious Cry was never its name in the first place. It actually didn't have a name but something happened and from then on rumors started to spread. Sailors, fishermen and even pirates claimed to have felt strong energy coming from the island,"

"There is a myth about a king and a queen who live deep inside the island," she continued.

"What happened in the myth?" I asked.

"It is said that the island is ruled by two people. The queen rules the west while the king rules the east. The west is full of music, light, and harmony but the east, on the other hand, is filled with darkness, hatred, and nightmares."

"Music and nightmares, you say?" Angelo asked in confirmation.

"Yea, why?" asked Dylan.

"Doesn't that remind you of two others we know?" he asked once again with a smirk.

"You don't think that-" but Dylan stopped after Angelo gave him a look.

"Who are you talking about?" Lucas asked, clueless as ever, and for the first time, I too felt the same way.

"You'll find out soon enough. Don't worry." Daphne replied, making both Lucas and I look at each other in confusion.

It was now 12.00p.m., and the sun was shining as bright as ever. I was sitting at the main deck with Opal beside, reading the storybook that I had found at the beach, the other day. At one point I stopped reading and just stared at the page I was on. My mind wandered of somewhere and I didn't even realize it. Funny how that works.

"We're here," Angelo called out, catching everyone's attention and making me fall back to reality.

After stopping the ship at the shore, we took our backpacks and got down to the beach. It looked like any other island you would come across but something about this place gave me chills. The island looked normal....too normal. As if it is wearing a disguise.

"You guys feel it too, don't you?" Lucas asked worriedly.

"The energy? Yup," Dylan answered.

We entered the forest and kept walking until we finally found two paths. One leading to the light, the other to darkness.

"Which path do we take?" Daphne asked.

"East," Angelo replied before following the path.

The deeper we walked into the forest, the more dark energy we could feel. There was also this feeling that we were being watched by millions of eyes. It was silent for a couple of minutes but, then we could hear rustling in the bushes and trees which made the whole situation 10 times creepier.

"Angelo, something's following us," Daphne whispered to Angelo who nodded slowly in reply.

Before I could take another step, we heard a roar and a loud one too, if I might add.
