After waking up from that weird dream, I realized I was on an island. I wasn't sure what island I was on, but it was an island, that was for sure. I looked around and saw Opal lying on the ground, a few meters away from me. I quickly got up and ran towards her.

"Opal, wake up," I whispered after kneeling down beside her. After a few seconds, Opal started to open her eyes slowly. She got up and looked around before tackling me onto the ground while licking my face.

"Okay, okay, I get it. You miss me." I said while laughing, trying to get her off me. When I stood up after getting licked all over my face by Opal, I realized that Lucas was nowhere to be found. I walked around and found my backpack and the scrolls that we borrowed from The Fairy Kingdom but everything was soaking wet. After a few minutes of walking, I found Lucas's backpack. I wanted to grab his things but was in for a shock when I saw huge footprints that led to the inside of the island.

"Lucas. Hang on. I'm coming." I said quietly after looking closely at those footprints.

Somehow I knew that whatever left those footprints had captured Lucas and now it's up to me to save him.

"Come on, Opal. Let's go." I said to my pet wolf who nodded her head firmly in agreement.

I was walking through the forest with two backpacks on both of my shoulders, the scrolls in my bag and Opal at my side when suddenly we heard a loud noise coming from somewhere in the forest. Opal and I looked at each other before running towards the loud noise that we just heard. We kept running even if our legs couldn't take it anymore and finally we reached a place we thought might be where Lucas was being held. It was a cave. A huge cave. I walked into the cave with Opal at my heel, without even thinking twice. It was kinda dark inside but the light from outside made the cave a bit brighter. I was really hoping to see Lucas right after I walked in but unfortunately, he was nowhere to be found. So I decided to go deeper into the cave and while walking more deeper into the cave, I realized that it was getting darker. Once I was deep enough inside the cave, I saw Lucas right away and he was tied to a pole. I ran towards him and quickly checked if he was unconscious or not......and he was.

"Lucas, wake up," I said while shaking his shoulder a little.

I was starting to get worried when suddenly Lucas began to open his eyes slowly.

"Zoe, what's going on?" he asked me with a worried expression, but after looking around and realizing that he was tied to a pole, he regained his memory and started panicking.

"Oh no, we're in danger! He's gonna come for us!" exclaimed while trying to get out from the ropes that were holding him to the pole.

"Hey, come down," I said to him while Opal quickly cut the ropes using her sharp claws.

"Now, what's going on? Who's coming for us?" I asked calmly.

"A giant but not just any giant. He was reborn to destroy Hecate, the goddess of magic and witchcraft. Clytius." Lucas explained, feeling so terrified to even say the name of the giant he was talking about.

Lucas was about to say something else when suddenly we felt the whole cave shaking. All three of us tried sprinting towards the exit, but as soon as we were about to reach the exit something huge blocked our way. Clytius. Wearing a robe made out of shadows and carrying a Stygian iron sword.

"WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING WITH MY DINNER!" he roared in anger at us.

"Your dinner?! I ain't anyone's dinner!" Lucas exclaimed angrily and by doing so he made the hungry giant really, really mad. Clytius roared so loudly that even the cave started vibrating.
