"Mummy! Mummy! Tell me the story!",yelled 5 year old Zoe while jumping up and down on her bed. "Story? Which story are you talking about?", Zoe's mother asked with her hands on her hip. "You know, the story about the 9 mages and how they save the world and stuff," Zoe replied before finally settling down. "Alright, alright but then after that it's bed time, okay?" and Zoe nodded with a cheeky smile.
"A long time ago, there were 9 mages. Each with different powers, abilities and talents. They were destined to bring balance between both the World of Magic and the World of No Magic. But, then, something terrible happened and all 9 of them vanished into thin air. Some say they went into hiding and are still alive while some say they have died a long time ago but there are some who believe that their powers have been passed down to the younger generation and that the descendants of the 9 mages will rise up again to save the world from destruction and chaos".

Zoe Adonia Blackheart. Yup, that's me. A 16-year-old girl who is not like any ordinary teen. I'm living with my mum and I'm studying in an all-girl school. I'm not the typical 16-year-old girl you always see. I'm different. I love fantasy, myths, and stories of legends. Oh, and also, I'm an astrology wizard. You see, each constellation has a soul and being an astrology wizard I am able to take over those souls and gain the abilities of each constellation. I know that it's all too much to take in, but trust me, this is just the introduction of myself. You haven't heard my whole story yet.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I opened my eyes sleepily and pressed the snooze button. I wanted to go back to sleep, but then I realized it was Monday! "SCHOOL!" I screamed while running to the bathroom with my towel. After I got out of the shower, I quickly changed into my school uniform. I then tied my hair into a ponytail, grab my bag and ran downstairs after taking my favorite book of all time, The Protectors of The Realms.
"Good morning, Zoe. Hurry up and eat your pancakes." my mum said to me when I reached the dining table. "Good morning," I replied while taking a bite out of my pancakes. I finished my breakfast just a few minutes before my school bus arrived. "Mum! My bus is here. I'll be going now." I told my mum before hopping onto the bus.
I walked over to the back seat where I saw my best friend, Victoria. "Hey Zoe!" she said while waving at me. "Hey, Vicky!" I replied while taking a seat beside her. I saw that Vicky was listening to some music, so I decided not to disturb her. Instead, I decided to read the book I brought. It was a book about wizards, 9 to be exact. They were destined to protect the world of magic. And I know what you're thinking...but no I'm not like those characters in the book. Well not yet, at least.
Finally, we reached our school. I got out of the bus with Vicky and we ran to school. When we finally reached the school hall, we went straight to class feeling exhausted. "Whose idea was it again? To run from the bus to here," Vicky asked while catching her breath. "IT WAS YOUR IDEA!" I yelled at her. She just laughed before dragging me into class.
The First and Second period went by quickly. Then, it was time for lunch. Vicky and I bought some sandwiches and found our seats. "Finally. Lunch," said Vicky while munching on her sandwiches greedily. I just laughed at her silly attitude. Suddenly three girls came to our table. Ava, Mia and the worst of all, Emily. You could say they're the mean girls of this school.
"Oh, what do we have here?" asked Emily, acting all innocent.
"It's weirdo one and weirdo two," answered Mia while giggling.
"What do you want?" asked Victoria, ready to pounce on them. Vicky might look like a little helpless girl, but when it comes to her friends, she is ready to defend them, no matter the consequences.
"We just wanted to have a laugh," she replied while smirking. I could feel my body heating up while I was glaring at her.
"What are you going to do now? Call your daddy?" she said mockingly. "Where is your daddy?" she continued.
Now, she crossed the line. "Go back to hell!" I yelled at her after slamming my hands on the table. By now, everyone in the canteen was looking at us, or should I say me.
"Excuse me? Who do you think you are?!" asked Emily, her voice rising.
Suddenly, I realized that Emily's expression had changed, from angry to confused.
"What's wrong with your eye weirdo?" Emily asked me with an eyebrow raised. I turned towards Vicky, wondering what the hell was this girl talking about. When Vicky looked at me, she gasped.
"What? What is it?" I asked Vicky, confused as ever.
"Y-your eyes. Zoe, your eyes are-" she paused but that's when it hit me.
I took my bag and ran as fast as I could. I could hear Emily and her friends giggling and calling me names like 'weirdo' and 'eye freak' but I didn't care. I didn't even turn back, not once because I had just done something terrible. Something I was afraid I would do at one point in my life.
.
I had just revealed my secret.
