( Picture above is Lucas)

Now, the only thing I have to do is call Lucas. I took out my phone and the piece of paper my mum gave and dialed the number.

Ringing

Me: Hello?

Lucas: Hi. Can I know who this is?

Me: Umm...I'm not sure if you would know me or not. But my name is Zoe

Lucas: (gasp) Zoe Adonia Blackheart?!?

Me: Wait. How do you know me?

Lucas: Of course I know you. You're my cousin.

Me: (laughs) Ok, well I guess I can skip the introduction. Lucas, I need your help. Where do you live?

Lucas: I live at Kerrowood Isle in a town called Eagleborn.

Me: You've got to be kidding me. That's 4 hours away from Steelshire.

Lucas: Well, what do you need help with?

Me: I'm going on a mission. I'm gonna find my brother and our cousins.

Lucas: I'm sooo coming with you!!

Me: What? Really? Just like that?

Lucas: Well, I have to ask my parents first, obviously, but I'm sure they'll let me go when I tell them I'm gonna look for my sisters.

Me: Sisters?!

Lucas: Yeah, my sisters. Daphne and Leona Helen Silverwalker.

Me: Alright. Talk to your parents first. Then, call this number and let me know what they say.

Lucas: Alright, see ya.

Ends the call

I sat down below the tree and took out a book I brought with me. It was called Heroes of Olympus: The House of Hades (any pjo fans reading this?). Opal laid her head on my lap and eventually fell asleep. After two hours, I got a call. It was Lucas.

Lucas: Hope you're able to keep yourself busy for four hours 'cus I'm coming.

Me: Nice! I'll be waiting at the Tutti Frutti Cafe. See ya, then.

I decided to go to a bookstore nearby to pass the time. If you didn't notice by now, I'm a bookworm. The only books I read are Fantasy/Adventure genres. To me, by reading I get to let my imagination run free. Reading takes me to places I've never been to and I get to meet new people who I've never met. It's exciting really. Anyways, I spent the next 3 hours before getting a text from Lucas saying that he was gonna reach in an hour or so. 'If I leave now, I'll be able to reach the cafe just in time,' I thought to myself before heading out of the bookstore. Once I reached the cafe I took a seat near the window and Opal sat down beside me. After 30 minutes of waiting, a boy wearing a blue t-shirt with a pair of black sweatpants entered the cafe. He was carrying a black bag over his shoulder and had black headphones on. He saw me and walked towards my table. "Zoe?" he asked. "Lucas!" I exclaimed before giving him a hug which he returned. "It's really nice to finally meet you, Zoe!" he said with a cheeky smile. "It's nice to meet you too," I replied before sitting back down. The waitress came up to us and we both ordered a strawberry smoothie. "So, what's the plan?" Lucas asked after we got our drinks. "Well, if we want to find everyone the first thing we'll need is a ship," I explained. "And where exactly are we gonna get a ship?" he asked before taking a sip of his smoothie. "I know a place,".

We had to walk all the way from the cafe to the end of Steelshire, which was about 2 miles from here. It was pretty tiring, but hey, I probably did lose some weight. But eventually, we did reach there. "Finally! We made it!" Lucas said while throwing his hands up in the air, even Opal howled too. We walked towards a man, who was selling some boats and ships. "Hi. I would like to buy a small ship, please." I said kindly. "Now, why would little kids like you, buy a ship?" he asked while raising an eyebrow, with his hands on his hips. "W-well, w-we, uhh" Lucas stuttered without knowing what to say next. I wanted to save poor Lucas, but suddenly the old man started laughing so hard. Now, it's my turn to look at him weirdly. "Don't be so tensed, I was only joking. Here you can choose which ships you like," he said while smiling. I looked at him dumbfounded and just sighed with relief. I looked around until I spotted a ship with the Libra constellation on its sails. "What about that one over there," I asked while pointing towards the ship. He brought us to the ship and I decided it would be perfect for me, Lucas and Opal. "That would be 10000 dollars," he said to me. '10000 dollars! I don't have that much money with me!' I thought to myself. I looked at Lucas, hoping that he would have some money, but all he did was shook his head. "Uhh, you know what, I think we'll pass," I told the old man, politely. "You don't want to buy the ship?", the old man asked. "No, we don't have enough money. So, I think we'll be going now." I replied while waving at him. The old man just shrugged it off and went back into the store.

"What are we gonna do now?", Lucas asked worriedly. "I'm not sure, Lucas," I replied while thinking of ways to get some money. Then, it hit me.
"Unless we steal the ship."
"YOU NUTS?!?! WE CAN GET INTO SO MUCH TROUBLE!!", he replied while screaming his lungs out.
"Well, do you have another plan?" I asked back.
"No, not really,"
"We're doing it,". Lucas really had no choice but to just follow my lead.

We crept near the ship without making a single sound. Then the three of us hopped onto the ship one by one. "Spirits of the shadows, help cover us so that we can escape." he whispered. All of a sudden, a thick and dark fog covered our entire ship, giving us the opportunity to escape. After I untied the rope from the pole that was holding the ship, I then pulled the ropes and lifted the sails which made the ship move. "Wait. When did you learn to sail?" Lucas asked, impressed. Then, I realized that I had never ever sailed before.....not even once. "Don't know. I guess it's in my blood," I replied, remembering that my dad was a pirate. We looked behind to see if anyone had seen us, but no one had even noticed that there was a fog covering our ship. Our ship consists of the main deck, a quarter-deck, and a poop deck which was where the steering wheels were placed. There was also a small empty cabin and a storage room filled with different items that were supposed to be used by pirates. Lucas, Opal, and I investigated both rooms and ended up finding many items that were fit for use. I took out the map from my backpack and planned with Lucas on where we should start our search. According to my mum, we will be able to get some help if we venture to the island called Tilos. So, that's where we're going.

And that's how our journey began.
