Benny let go and picked Nina up and carried her to the bed. He gently laid her down and climbed into the bed as well. He pulled the covers over them and he wrapped one arm around her waist, one stroking her cheek. "Nina, I love you, and I know you know that. I just need you to talk to me. I can't help you through this unless you do."

"Sorry." She didn't know what else to say.

Benny knew she was struggling with something. She either didn't want him to know or she didn't know how to say it to him. He put his other arm around her and held her close to his chest.

She turned on her side and buried her head in his chest, unsure of what to say.

Benny had one arm on her back rubbing it gently and rested the other against her head. "It's okay baby. I promise you everything is okay."

Nina shook as tears flowed onto Benny's shirt. She hated getting caught wordless and it was happening. There was nothing she could think of to say and her thoughts were out of focus.

Benny felt the tears through his shirt. He held her tighter as he whispered into her ear. "Shhhh, gorgeous, everything is okay. I understand, I completely understand is you don't wanna talk about it. I've got you and you will be okay."

She couldn't control the tears, so they just kept soaking into Benny's shirt. Her hair was a hot mess, splayed everywhere. She held onto him tighter, as a life source. Nina didn't want to let go. Ever.

"It's okay baby, cry as much as you need. I'm here to support you forever y para siempre."

"I'm sorry," she cried, "I'm sorry." Her tears became more violent as time went on, and as the force of them increased, her guilt did as well.

"Don't be sorry Nina. What you're going through is hard and painful." He took the hand from her back and brushed all her hair off to one side, so it rested neatly on the pillow behind her. He then returned his hand to her back and continued to rub it softly to try and calm her down a little.

She hiccupped and tried her hardest to choke down the tears, but couldn't. Instead of choking them down, it seemed that she was more choking on them.

"Nina!" Benny called. He was terrified of what could happen. He sat her up, rubbing her back still. "Baby. Please. Deep breaths. Calm. Respira."

Her body trembled as she tried to calm down, but as she tried harder, it only got worse. "I'm sorry," she wailed, but then stopped speaking again. She just quivered in his arms, vulnerable, like a rabbit being pursued by a dog.

Benny gently pushed her body forward into the center of the bed and went behind her. He pulled her back towards him, so she was lying back against his chest, sat between his legs. He wrapped one arm around her front and used the other to sort her hair out. He brushed it back, so it was out of her face and off to one side. The then ran his hand up and down her arm once again trying to soothe her.

She shook but calmed. Tears still fell down her face and stifled wails were heard. She felt more helpless than ever.

"Shhh, I'm here, it's okay baby. I promise." He leant his head over her shoulder and saw the tears. He wiped them away with his thumb and held her close.

"I'm sorry," she whispered, her voice hoarse. "I'm so sorry." She turned so that she was again facing him and put her face on his chest, burying her face in it. She hugged him tightly.

Benny hugged her tight. "You don't need to be sorry, I'm just happy I'm here to support you. I would hate for you to be alone right now." He rested his head on her shoulder and gently kissed her neck a few times, all of a sudden realizing something.
