Vanessa stood next to Usnavi slightly scared. She looked slightly up at him nervously. When they had both collapsed, Vanessa panicked but acted. Usnavi, in complete shock just stood there watching, taking it all in. Vanessa bent down and started to lift up Nina slowly, going to sit her on the couch.

Nina twitched, but otherwise nothing. Vanessa sat Nina up slowly and looked at Usnavi. "H-Help me with Benny?" Usnavi stared at them in pure shock. He didn't know how to handle this.

"S-Snavi! H-Help me!" Vanessa yelled at him.

"U-Um sure, sorry Vanessa," he stuttered, falling out of his trance. Usnavi stumbled over to Benny, helping Vanessa move him. Like Nina, Benny flinched again but not enough for him to react and wake up.

Vanessa ran a hand nervously through her hair. "Oh my god- What do we do!? What if they're sick? What if they get really sick from this!?" She continued to mumble nervously.

Usnavi took Nina's pulse. "Still beating," he muttered. It was beating at a decent pace, actually. He moved over to Benny, taking his as well. What he felt shocked him.

It was slowing, and quickly. He needed to be woken up, and quickly. "Vanessa! His heart rate is slowing!"

"W-What did I d-do!?" She started freaking out.

Usnavi put a calming, but shaking hand on Vanessa's back. "You didn't do anything, it's okay. They'll be alright," he said. He got the fan and put it near them, then asked Vanessa, "Can you make them ice packs?"

Vanessa nodded and quickly ran off. She came back with two ice packs.

Usnavi took the ice packs from Vanessa's hands and put them on their foreheads, following the procedure that he used earlier. Vanessa breathed shakily while watching them. Once finished, Nina awoke nearly immediately.

Nina groggily said, "What happened?" and then looked to the side of her where Benny was. She panicked, the memory flooding in. Her heart hurt. The memory of pain and tears made it hard to breathe. She decided that just for him, she had to collect herself. And so she did.

She walked over to Benny, heaving near silent sobs over his chest. Usnavi gently said, "Nina, don't hurt too much. He'll be alright, honey," treating her like a child. She snapped, "I know that," coldly, "I can't lose him though. This feels more like death than anything else. His skin is cold of sweat and he's paler than I've ever seen him," she said, gently.

Usnavi and Vanessa stepped back, to give Nina space. This was the worst they had seen her all day. Her heart was being shattered as the seconds went by.

Her face paled as she grabbed his limp hand, cold as ice. Her heart seemed to stop with his frigid, rough touch. She closed her eyes, trying to feel him alive, if not for just a second. She couldn't. Warm tears dripped out of her eyes, falling onto him and soaking into his clothes or the carpet. She begged, "Please, just wake up Benny, wake up," desperately pleading. She took his other hand in hers, the other one seemingly colder than the one she was already holding. Nina kissed his left hand, letting it fall to the side. As a tear dripped out of her left eye, she put her hand carefully around the back of his neck and pulled his face towards her, she kissed him, desperate for him to wake up. She had never been so frightened in her life.

Benny shivered, but for the first time, he acknowledged something. He could feel the soft tender lips of his girlfriend gently pressed against his. He slowly began to feel the heat radiating off her hands as she held his tightly. His eyes slowly opened. Nina wasn't looking in his eyes anymore, she was looking down as his heart, scared for his life. Slowly thoughts, memories of the day and his reality returned. He tightened his grip on her hands. She looked up. He let go and did his best to wrap his cold, frigid arms around her back and stand. He clearly struggled, his breathing hitching at every inch he moved. Nina took hold of his arms and helped him wrap them around her.

Once his arms touched each other he just squeezed, pulling her in, letting all her excess heat radiate though her skin into his. Benny's frozen eyes started to well up, causing tears to drip onto her shirt. Then when he finally had the strength return to him, he pulled her face close to his, closed his eyes, and whispered "Nina, you saved my life, I love you." And he pulled her into another long romantic kiss.

As they were together, everything slowly returned, his body softened, his heart beat sped up back to where it should be, and his breathing returned to normal. This was all he needed, Nina Rosario, his girlfriend, the love of his life, by his side (her kissing him was an added bonus). Eventually, they mutually pulled apart for air, but still looked lovingly into each other's eyes. Nina put her arms around Benny's neck as his tightened around her waist.

Vanessa sighed and looked at Usnavi. "So, t-they're okay?"

Usnavi sighed in relief. "Yeah, they're alright."

"Let's head up to mine, you can stay in the spare room, just in case anything else happens, where they need us." Vanessa nodded in return.

"Benny, Nina, we will both be upstairs in my apartment. Give us a call if absolutely anything potentially bad happens. I want the best for both of you, and that means I want you to be safe. Love you both."

"Hmmm" came the response from Benny, He wasn't focused on him. He only wanted to focus on Nina right now. She was all he needed right now. He looked over Nina's shoulder and saw the blankets that had fallen on the floor. He looked back into her eyes, picked her up and sat on the couch. Then he pulled her down, so they laid side by side on the couch, Nina still in his arms. He draped one arm over the side of the couch and grabbed the biggest of the blankets. He pulled it up and laid it over them. They shared small but perfect little kisses and held each other like they were never going to let go and they ran their hands through each other's hair. They both found it very relaxing and was a good way to calm them down after a stressful and busy day. Until eventually they drifted off to sleep in each other's arms.

They were happy, despite everything that had happened, they were finally together, both back to how they should be, no more passing out, no more freezing up. They were in each other's arms for their first night as a couple, and no one was able to stop that. For the rest of that night, everything was absolutely perfect.
