They arrived only a few minutes after the others and they saw the other couple in the queue to get tickets.
As soon as they saw Vanessa and Usnavi, she straightened up. If she was going to assure them, then she'd have to look convincing. She walked over to them, letting Benny's arm leave her waist.
As Nina walked further towards them, he took her hand. He still wanted that physical connection to her. It not only assured him, but warmed him inside.
Vanessa smiled and hugged her loosely. "You better Hun?"
She hugged back. "Yeah, I am. Sorry for making such a scene."
Usnavi cut in from the other side of Vanessa, "It's fine. We understand."
"So, guys, made a decision on what to watch, or even narrowed it down to any yet?" Benny asked knowing Usnavi was helpless at decision making.
Vanessa shook her head.
"Okay, let have a look together and see what looks good."
Nina hugged Vanessa tightly and laid her head on her friend's shoulder.
Vanessa smiled and broke the hug, but still kept an arm around her. "What do you want to see?"
"Ooh Mamma Mia is out now." Nina said excitedly, looking up at the posters.
"Sounds perfect!" Vanessa commented.
"Ooh that looks good!" Benny said looking up at the posters. "Romantic, comedy musical. Sounds perfect, I know how much you like musicals after our date, from before..." He nudged her again, not finishing his sentence.
"Benny," she scolded again, knowing what he meant by the nudge.
"Sorry babe, just messing with you." He put his hand on her shoulder and brought her close into a side hug.
"Alright, it's settled then. Mamma Mia," Usnavi said, leading the group to step in line.
As Usnavi lead the group over.
Nina grumbled, "It's been nine years and they've finally done it," annoyed that the movie hadn't come out sooner. She'd always wanted to see it on Broadway.
"Yeah, I swear that was one of the shows on in 2000? Right?" Benny mentioned.
"No, 1999. Close though." Nina smiled up at him.
"But it ran into 2000 though and longer I think. But I've no idea to be honest."
"Well, technically, it was on in 2001, but it was produced initially in 1999 in London. It never stopped running."
"Well, what does it matter. We're going to see it now, aren't we?" He giggled a little.
Nina nodded and giggled as well.
Vanessa went over and got them popcorn and drinks.
Usnavi got four tickets and then went over to Vanessa, as did Nina.
Vanessa smiled and handed out drinks. "We can all share popcorn, right?"
"Yep" Benny nodded.
"Yeah," Nina and Usnavi agreed. With her drink in hand, Nina put one arm around Vanessa and the one with her drink around Benny's waist.
Vanessa giggled while putting a round around Nina and Usnavi.
Benny took his drink in one hand and took Nina's from her hand into his other. He trusted her holding it, but didn't trust himself not to knock it over as it was beside him, it also meant Nina was able to put her hand on his waist and not just his arm.
