92 - Falling Best Boyfriend

Benny squeezed her hand a little as they walked up to his. They opened the door to see Usnavi and Vanessa making out on the couch. "Having fun there you two?" Benny laughed knowing him and Nina often did the same.

"Shit," Usnavi exclaimed. "Why'd you have to come back so early?" he asked.

Nina giggled. "We never said we were going to be gone for long."

"Oh, don't worry about it, Nina and I often do the same. Thankfully for you we moved into the bedroom before doing much else."

"Hmm," he said, not saying anything else. "Okay then." Usnavi straightened up and left some room for the two of them to sit down. Nina did.

Benny joined her wrapping his arms around her shoulder bringing her closer to his side, kissing her temple. "Love you princessa."

"Love you too."

He cuddled up to her, still tired. "I'm so tired but I don't really want to do anything else."

"I know." She wrapped her arm with a cast on it around him, it being the one that was next to him. Usnavi joined in, leaning on the other side of Nina. Then, Vanessa leaned in on Usnavi. Before Nina knew it, Usnavi was snoring, and Vanessa seemed to be lightly sleeping on top of him.

"Looks like everyone is tired," Benny smiled. "They must have had a long make out to fall asleep as soon as we get back.â€

"Yeah. You want to join 'em?" Nina said, decently tired herself.

"Yeah, why not. As long as I don't leave you awake by yourself. That wouldn't be any fun."

"Hey, it wouldn't be your fault if you did. Go to sleep if you want to and I'll try my best to. If I can't, then I'll rest well knowing that you've gotten some sleep."

"Okay then baby girl. I love you." He turned his head, looking into her eyes, then gave her a kiss on the lips before lying against the edge of the couch with Nina's head resting on his arm. He closed his eyes as if he was falling asleep, but didn't yet doze off.

"Love you too." She smiled.

Benny fell asleep, his arm still around Nina, but falling limp to her side.

Nina's smiled widened as he fell asleep. He was so cute. She closed her eyes and tried to sleep, but couldn't. So, she just watched Benny, so peaceful. She wished he didn't have to battle with so many problems in his daily life, so that his face could look like this more of the time. She had the thought, 'Problems, like me,' but she tried her best to block out the intrusive thought.

Benny shifted his weight leaning against Nina. His head fell to her chest and snuggled into her side. He made murmuring noises as he slept against her.

Nina silently giggled. Benny was so cute when he slept, despite being so tall and built, Nina still thought he was utterly adorable. She held him tighter with her arm and continued staring forward, leaning on Usnavi as he mutually leaned on her. Nina eventually fell asleep, just like the rest of them.

Benny was the first to wake up. He checked his phone for the time. 7pm. They had all been asleep for two and a half hours. He took a picture of them all as they all looked really cute sleeping on each other. After realizing Nina wasn't leaning on him, Benny sat upright. He decided to make them all dinner to end their double date. He went over to the kitchen and found a single pan he saved from the packing box and filled it with water. He grabbed the last bag of pasta in his cupboard and emptied it into the pan of water. While it was cooking he grated some cheese and chopped the last of the ham. He put the ham and cheese on the table, still on the chopping board as he had nothing else to put them in, along with a pot of pesto and some tomato sauce. He put 2 forks and 2 spoons out, along with two bowls and two plates. When he packed up he wasn't planning on serving 4 people in the space of 2 days so only had the few things he'd left out for him and Nina. After 10 minutes all the pasta was cooked, and he drained it but left it in the pan to allow everyone to take what they wanted. He walked back over to the group asleep on the couch and smiled. He crouched down beside Nina before waking her. He smiled wider at how adorable she was when sleeping, it was a rare sight for him to see, but she was truly the cutest thing he'd ever seen. He placed his hand on her shoulder and said, "Nina sweetie. I've made dinner for us all; do you want to wake up?"

She jumped as he woke her up. Breathing heavily, she said, "Okay, but Usnavi's leaning on me. If I get up, then both him and V will fall down."

He stood up, "Sorry, did I startle you? I'm sorry babe." He bent down and gave her a peck on the lips. "I'll wake the others." He gently woke Vanessa first, then just shook Usnavi. "Wake up sleepy head. I've made you dinner, because I'm such a nice friend."

Vanessa sat up slowly and yawned.

Nina giggled. She slipped out from under Usnavi as he groggily awoke and gave Benny his thanks.

"You're very welcome, now who wants food that I so lovingly made for you all. Because I'm the best friend and best boyfriend in the whole world. Aren't I?"

"Yes, Benny. You are," Nina said, giggling.

Usnavi said, "Nah, I'm the best boyfriend in the world. You're a close second though."

"Well you didn't make dinner for your girlfriend, or take her on a full day romantic date did you. I took Nina on a wonderful date, and made all three of you dinner, including your girlfriend. So, I think I win, and especially after last night." He said smirking a little at Nina.

"I've done it with and taken Vanessa on plenty of dates. And..." Usnavi started, but Nina cut him off.

"Ay dios mio," she said, "Enough! Both of you tie for the best boyfriend, okay? Simmer down!"

Vanessa giggled softly. "I think he beat you Usnavi,"

"Ha! See Vanessa thinks in better! Therefore, I am better! You're a close second though." Benny said using his own trick against him.

"¿Nadie puede oi­rme? Ustedes dos son igualmente increi­bles!" Nina said loudly, tired already of the bickering.

"You know I can't translate that carina." He said softly. He took her hands, pulled her up and place his hands on her waist as hers fell to his biceps.

She bit her lips hard, kind of frustrated. "I said, 'Can nobody hear me? You both are equally amazing!' I was tired of your discutiendo."

"Oh, sorry babe. Anyway, let's eat before the pasta goes cold." He moved his hands letting Nina's slide down his arms until they reached his hands. He squeezed them both gently and then dropped one, leading her around to the table with the other. He pulled a chair out for her and pushed her in once she sat down. "It's a serve yourself, so plain pasta in the pan and then pesto, tomato sauce, ham and cheese." He then sat down and handed the pasta pot to Nina.

Nina put a little bit of pasta on her plate and then said, "Are we going to share plates?"

"No, two plates, for us. Two bowls for the V and 'Snavi. I only saved two of everything as I was expecting to only need to feed us two and not four of us. Same reasons we have forks, they have spoons. All my other kitchen stuff is already at Usnavi's place. So, I'm making do with what I had."

"Okay." Nina passed the pot to Usnavi, who also emptied a bit more onto his plate. He passed it to Vanessa and put some tomato sauce on it. Nina took some tomato sauce and put it on hers as well, then started to eat.

Benny took the remaining pasta and added some tomato sauce, he sprinkled some cheese and ham on and then started eating. "Wait, do you guys want anything to drink."

Usnavi said, "Soda, doesn't matter which kind if you have any," while Nina shook her head, despite being parched.

"Same please Benny, just a soda." Vanessa requested.

Benny went to grab Usnavi, Vanessa and himself a Pepsi each. He poured a glass of water for Nina despite saying she didn't want anything.

 She had to focus on actually eating. Shepicked up some food on her fork and shakily put it in her mouth. Good. Nextone, her stomach started to feel funny, but she just passed it off as nothing.Next one, she felt her gag reflex kicking in. She should have known it was toogood to be true. Without saying anything, she ran to Benny's bathroom, holdingthe barf in until she got to the toilet. Then, she held her hair back andvomited into the toilet again. She coughed, her throat burning from acid. Shamewas the only thing she felt. She locked the door and slumped against it, kneesdrawn to her chest and forehead in her hands. After a little while, she got upand wiped off her mouth, then followed the same procedure she used before tosanitize her mouth. Afterward, she slumped back down in her corner and criedinto her knees.
