Hiiii (:
I'm only keeping this up for a short while since I want this book to focus mainly on the imagines, but I'll keep it up for a week or so at least. I hope these help, and I promise that Part 1 of Worthless is coming very soon!
Also – don't forget to enter the contest! I've gotten loads and loads of imagine requests that I've had to turn down, so make sure you enter so you get the chance to win the imagine you wanted!!
Okay, here are the answers to your questions! (:
How do you think I should start out good imagines, and end them?
Honestly, I think that all imagines are good. I mean, you're writing about your idol, and you're imagining dating him/being married to him, and you're helping other beliebers imagine that, too... What could go wrong?! (: But I think that you always need to make sure you're writing realistic scenarios, because, in my opinion, that's what makes imagines things people are able to imagine!
When do you normally post imagines? Do you have a schedule?
No, I don't. I don't believe in writing because you have to write, I write because I love it and it makes me feel good, and it can help people at the same time. Whenever I get a good idea for an imagine or a good thought or prompt as to what I want to write, I'll write it down on my phone and then write the actualy imagine whenever I get a chance to. A lot of times I'll have days when I'm not in the mood to write, and then other days when all I want to do is write! So it just depends on how I'm feeling...
Have you ever met Justin? What's your name?
:( I've never met Justin, but I'm saving up so I'm able to for his next tour, and my name is Julia!
Where do you get your motivation to write imagines from?
So I guess I kinda answered this one up there (^^^^), but I can get motivation from honestly the strangest things. I've gotten motivation from everything from movies to other imagines to going on a walk. There's something in my mind that clicks the randomest things to imagine ideas, but it always works well! (: Oh, also: music! Music gives me so many ideas and I'm always listening to music when I'm writing, and I sometimes include the song I'm listening to in the imagine!
How do you get more people to notice your story if you just joined Wattpad?
This is a very frequently asked question... Honestly, I got very lucky with my imagines. I'm not sure if I just posted them at the right time, but I was able to get 1k reads on my imagine book within the first few days. And it felt absolutely amazing, which is why I've continued! (: But my #1 piece of advice for anyone whose new to Wattpad or whose trying to get more reads on their stories would be: positivity and to not give up. It might take you a little while to get a solid group of readers on your work, but I promise that it will happen! I mean, there are over 25 million visitors on this site every month!! And I'm sure your work is amazing so you'll all be succesful very fast!
How do you decorate your cover to the story?
So, I made my own cover for this imagine book, (just using a photo-editing app) but the cover for One Day was made by a lovely girl from Wattpad, (if you want to know who, PM me and I'll give you the info so she can make you one!). I'm sorry I'm not much help with this one, but there are multiple people on here that will make you a cover if you ask them!
How do you get inspired to write?
Well, when I first started writing imagines it was because I wanted to be able to express what I was feeling at the time and I found out how I could vent and cover it up within imagines... Of course I get writers block once in a while, but since I'll only write an imagine I feel a connection to, I don't have a problem with that too often... But, if you're struggling with writers block I reccomend to just take a break. Don't force yourself to write. Just wait a while, and I promise you it'll come.
Do you write the imagines beforehand in a notebook or do you just type it straight into your laptop/phone? How long does it take you to write an imagine?
I write all my imagines on an app called Evernote, so that way I can write on my phone when I'm out or don't have access to my laptop, and then I can sign in to Evernote on my laptop and I'll just copy and paste the imagine into Wattpad! As far as how long it takes me to write an imagine... that really depends. I think it takes me the longest to write imagines that are either more than one part, or imagines that are really personal/emotional or deal with insecurities or things that are really going on in Justin's life or in the real world (like "Three" and "Unconditionally").
When writing your fanfiction do you pre-write it, then upload it or do you just write when you feel like it? And if you do write your fanfiction whenever you feel like it, how do you find the motivation to update/write it?
Okay so I forgot to say this up there, but my main motivation is–most of the time–all of you!! You guys are so loyal to me and have continued reading my imagines for nearly a year now and that means so much to me that I always want to update to make you guys happy! (: With my fanfiction (One Day, if any of you dont know!) I almost always write it in the moment and then post it, don't know why. I also do very little editing with my fanfiction... Whoops (;
Thank you for all the questions! Keep commenting on the note before this one (or on this one as long as you follow the rules!) with your entries to the contest! The winner will be announced Sunday night, so you have until then!! Love you all, xx
