Nobody POV Xaine stared at the sky standing on the balcony. "We was looking everywhere for you" Xai stared. Xaine just stood there still looking at the sky. "What's wrong" Nia asked coming up. Xaine turned back around with teary eyes. "I miss mama" he said wiping his face with his little hands. "I do too but we got to stay strong igh" Xai told him. Xaine just nodded. "So this is where we are going to stay okay" Xai told Xaine. He nodded and walked away. Nia wanted to go after him but Xai stopped her. "What" she asked. "Don't.. let him be by his self for a minute" he said. She looked at him for a minute then did it again. Like she was reading him. "I got to go" she said. Xai gave her a puzzled look. "Alr I'll take you home if you ready then" he said. "No I'm taking an Uber" she said while walking off. What is wrong with her and why does she always do that Xai said to his self. Just then his phone rung. Xai "Yoo" Trey "wasup nigga haven't heard from you in a min" Xai "Damn you right I guess I been caught up" Trey "Yea i heard we need to roll up and catch up" Xai "Fr nigga yo ass need come to Lakeview" Trey "haha yea I'm coming back. I'm bout to go back to school." I walked to the bus stop and waited for the bus. A black Escalade pulled up and the window rolled down and it was Xai. "Yo Nia come on" he said. I walked my happy ass right up to his car and got in. He looked over at me. I know he probably mad about me walking out on him. I feel bad but I really can't let no one in. "So what was up with you yesterday?" He asked. "Um I felt sick" I said about to laugh. "You can't lie for shit" he chuckled. I looked away because he was just so fine. "So fr why you left and said you can't tell me" he said. "I'm not ready Xaiver not yet" I told him. I looked in the back seat to see Xaine eating cereal on his iPad. "What you going to do about him" I asked Xai. "Ima be with him for today then tomorrow ima have your grandma watch him" he said. His phone started ringing. "Yoo" he said. "Man fr" "Igh my girl gone be there" "Yea Igh man" he said. I looked over at him. "My homeboy gone be at school today" he told me. "Really" i said. "Yea you'll gon be alright?" He asked. "Yea I know how to handle myself" i said and popped my collar. Which caused him to laugh. "Xaine wassup" I said as I turned around. "Hey Nia" he said giving me a big smile. "Look at you so handsome" I said. He smiled and went back to watching something on his iPad. "Well here's your stop" Xai said. "Before you leave let me get a kiss" he said. "Wait" he said. He got out the car opened my door helped me out and kissed me in front of everyone. He pulled back and bit his lip "I'll see you after school" he said walking back to the car. Xaine rolled down the window "bye Nia I love you" he said. "I love you too bye" I said and walked in the school. Suddenly I got tripped. "What the fuck" I said and looked up to see daija and her girls laughing. I got up and started walking the other way. "Pussy" one of them yelled. I called Xai. "Yoo you miss me already" he asked. "No I want to know what your friend looks like because I don't want to be lonely" I told him. "Oh I'll send you a picture" he said and then hung up. Nigga I wasn't even done talking I thought.

He sent me a picture. I looked at it and went walking around the school looking for him. Then I spotted him leaning on a door. I walked up to him "Hey you must be trey" I said. He looked at me with a puzzled look. "Yea how you know me... you not bout to ask me for money or drugs right?" He asked. I laughed " No I'm Xai's friend" I told him. "Ohhh shit my bad you the girl he told me about" he said. "It's okay" I told him. "Wait didn't you get tripped earlier by those broads?" he asked. "Uh yea you seen that" I said rubbing my neck. "Yea that was fucked up" he laughed. "But why didn't you do anything" he asked. "I'm not a fighter" I said. "Well if you hanging with me and xai you need to learn so when you free" he asked. "Um always" i said. "Igh I'll need to talk to Xai first but okay" he said then started walking. "You coming" he turned around and asked. I quickly walked next to him. He's really cool and goofy. The bell rung and they both went there separate ways.
