Xai POV I don't like that Asia girl. Every time I drop Noah off at the daycare. She always smiling at me and flirting. Nia think I'm just being a asshole which I am. But I don't give one actual fuck. She's fucking weird and ima find out what the fuck she got going on.
She really went to sleep because she called herself mad. "Baby." "Ma." "Babyy!!" "Mm?" "Wake up." "I'm tired Xai." She whined. "How was your day ?talk to me." "Baby I'm tired." "I can't sleep though." She turned towards me and put her head on my chest. "I love you." I told her but all I heard was her light snores. With that I decided to go to sleep.
Asia POV I woke up in the middle of the night panicking. Someone was trying to get in my room. I'm a high school drop out. That has to take care of my little brothers. My mother never did shit for me but take my shit and beat me. She always calls me ugly, a slut. She even lets her customers try to run a train on me. But I always get out of it someway. That's why I like Nia. She's like the big sister I never had. I know her friends don't like me. But I honestly don't care they don't even know me. I jumped as someone rattled at my door again. I grabbed my gun from under my pillow and walked slowly to the door. I swung it open and pointed the gun. To see my little brother. I sighed in relief. "I can't sleep." I motioned him to come in. "Where did you get that from?" He asked referring to the gun. "Don't worry about it let's just go to sleep." He nodded and cuddled under me. My plan is to get enough money working for Nia and my side hustles and getting the fuck out of here.
I woke up as the sun beamed on my face. I grunted not wanting to leave the comfort of my bed. But today's my day off and Ken my homeboy that's like a brother to me was going to let me borrow his other car. "Jaden go get ready." I said as I woke up my little brother. "And wake up Dre too." He left my room as I went to get ready. I did my daily morning routine. I put on some sweatpants and a white tee. Then topped it off with my best friends name plate necklace. Her name was Alexandra. She got shot when we was 10 and she died. I sent LJ a quick message before leaving Ken room. I waited in the living room for the boys. "I'm ready." Dre said coming out. He was 15 while Jaden was 8. "Me too." I smiled. I went in the kitchen handing them a banana and a water bottle. "We are going to go to the mall today. I want to get you guys some things." "Asia how long are we gonna have to live like this?" "It'll be over soon Dre, I need some time." He nodded. Ken sent me a text saying he was outside. "Come on let's go."
We stopped by Ken's house so that I can get the car. "Let me know when you on your way back so I can already be here." "Okay thanks Ken." He nodded then drove off. I then drove to the mall with the boys. "Okay so you guys can each get 3 outfits and 2 pairs of shoes." They nodded. I felt so bad I couldn't get them more. But I needed to save every penny for this apartment I liked. We walked around the mall when I seen a familiar face. It was Xai Nia's boyfriend. He was cute to me but I'm no home wrecker. "Plus I respect Nia way too much." It seemed as if he was coming towards us. "Hey Asia." He said. "Hi." "Who's this?" "Uh these are my little brothers." "Oh wasgood y'all ." Dre mugged him and Jaden spoke back. "Is Nia here?" "Nah I was actually here to buy her something. You think you can help?" "Actually.. Sure why not." "That's cool with y'all?" He asked my brothers. Dre shrugged. While Jaden nodded. We went into a jewelry store. He looked at the rings. "I don't know which one to get. You work with her which one do you think she'll like?" "She likes pink..What about that one?" It was beautiful something that screamed Nia.
