Nia POV
So I let him buy me the penthouse. He had my things from his house in there already. He wasn't going to give up so why not. Plus he's going to pay first month's rent and then he said I can do the rest unless I want him to pay. But I told him I got it.
"I'm proud of you I hope you find yourself. If you need anything call me. I love you goof." With that he kissed my forehead then left. He's trying but it's too soon plus maybe me and Julian are endgame. I went to Mateo's house getting the rest of my things. Julian started calling me.
Me- hello?
Him- Hey are you busy?
Me- I'm just grabbing my things why wassup?
Him- I'm going to go to this gala thing in a couple of hours and..I was hoping you'd want to come ?
Me- Yeah sure I'll be your date.
Him- Ight I'll pick you up at 8
Me- Okay I'll text you my new address.
With that I hung up.
I continued getting my things together. "Oh you're here." A deep voice said scaring the shit out of me. "Mateo! You scared me." I said hitting him. He started laughing. "It's not funny." I hit him again. "Okay okay I'm sorry." "Asshole." "You took care of my house?" I nodded. "Thank you and in return here." He handed me a envelope. I looked inside it was money. "I can't take this Mateo." I said giving it back. "No think of it as a job and I just paid you." "Mateo.." "Fine don't take it." He shrugged. "Anyways what you doing you knew I was coming back or something?" "No I finally got a place." "What? Where?" "Riverside." "That's good. It's nice over there." I agreed. "Let me help you out your things in the car." I handed him the two duffel bags. I grabbed the other two. We put them in the car then I left. First I went to the store for some groceries and then I went to a bridal shop picking out a beautiful classy dress.

I was finally home. With only two hours left to get ready. I took a shower then after I put lotion on. Straightened my hair then started on my makeup. My phone dinged causing me to check it.
Julian- I'm downstairs
Me- Come up I'm still getting ready though. I'll unlock the door
Julian- ight.
With that I unlocked the door then went back to doing my makeup.

I unlocked the door then started on my other eyebrow. Then I put on my mink lashes with mascara. I did my contour highlight and everything else. Then after I finished that I slipped on my dress and my heels. I was finally ready. I walked out of my room. Julian looked so cute in his suit he had a fresh cut and all. "I'm ready." He looked up from his phone a smile appeared on his face. "Am I over dressed?" "Nah you're perfect." I smiled. "You look good too." "Thank you shall we?" He held his hand out I grabbed it and with that we left.
