Nia POV
I quickly packed our bags. I haven't stopped shaking since I picked up that gun. I finished packing then I  went to look in the mirror. I started breathing irregular. Next thing I know I felt myself falling.
Xai POV
I can't believe this nigga was in my fucking house. Damn I shouldn't have killed him I wanted to torture him then kill him. "Dadddyyy!!" Noah screamed. I went upstairs and followed his voice. I picked her up and took her to the car. I put her in the back and Noah in the front. I sped to the hospital. "Daddy?" "Yeah." "Is mommy gonna be otay?" "Yeah mommy is very strong." "Like Wonder Woman?" "Yeah." "Yaayyy mommy a superhero." I smiled a little he so goofy. "Daddy you're a superhero?" "Nah I'm a villain." He laughed. I pulled into the emergency part of the hospital. The valet took the car. I picked up nia and went inside Noah followed behind me. "Uh could I get some help." The lady looked at me and screamed we need a medic. They ran in with a bed thing and took her out of my hands. "What happened?" She asked. "She passed out." "Did you hurt her?" "No." I said calming myself. I just walked away and sat down. I called trey then I gave noah my phone. "Sir.. could I ask you a couple questions?" "Wassup?" She sat down with a clipboard. "We noticed some bruises on the patient." "What you getting at?" "If you two are apart of a domestic relationship you both need to be apart." "Look y'all need to mind y'all business. I never put my hands on her. She went through something with her ex. I don't have to explain anything to y'all. Get out my face." She was about to say something else but I waved her off. Trey walked in with Jilly, Lannie, Eli, Boss, Bones, and Fuego. "There he go." "Damn y'all all came." "Yeah we gotta support our babygirl." "They think we had a fight." "Really?" "Yeah." "What happened anyway?" "I was at Chico house when baby Noah called me talking about some man with mommy. Then I heard gunshots and I sped home. They followed me and once I got in the house I seen her on the floor choking her ex. So I picked her up and shot that nigga. Then I told her to go pack next thing I know she was passed out." "My poor sis." "He's dead though right?" "Yeah he dead. She shot him a couple times and so did I." "Family of Nia Sheppard." We all stood up. "She is in stable condition. You may go see her." "So what happened?" "She just got startled. She's fine. Probably too much stress." "Okay Thank you." We went to her room and she was up looking sad then she smiled. "You okay?" Mateo asked "Yeah I'm okay." Noah ran over to her and she held him. "So what happened?" Jilly asked. "All I know i was packing then I finished and I looked in the mirror then I passed out." "Well you need to rest." Boss told her. "You okay babe?" She asked me I sighed. "You ready to go?" "I can leave?" "Yeah. They said you were just stressed." "Well lets go." "Are you sure xai? I think she should at least stay the night." "Ight whatever. I got to go home anyway." "Xai whatever is at home can wait she needs you."
"No it's fine..babe you can go home." "I'll stay." She smiled a little. I went and laid next to her. "We'll give y'all some time. See you later take it easy." "Okay thank you guys for coming." "No problem sis. Love ya." "Love you too trey." Eventually everybody left and it was just me and her. Trey took Noah to my moms house. "You scared me." "I'm sorry." "Don't say that..It's not your fault. Don't worry about anything we're gonna move." "Bae I don't wanna leave." "If you stay there you'll be in more danger." "I love that house."
"We can find something that we all like." "Xai...maybe it'll be better if I- "No you're not going anywhere. Then it'll be worst." "How?" "Look I got niggas after me. Most of them know I got a girl. They'll come after you. I'm not putting you in danger or Noah." "Yea you're right." "You should get some sleep." She laid on my chest and drifted off leaving me in my thoughts.
