Chapter 14

Nia POV
I woke up to a loud banging on the door I know it's not my house but I went to answer it. I looked out the door to see a girl. I opened the door. She was really pretty. "Hi may I- "Hi I'm Stacy a friend of Xai's" "Oh hi nice to meet you" I said. "You are so pretty are you his girlfriend" she asked. "Oh no we are just friends" I said. "Oh" "Do you want me to go get him?" I asked her. "Yes please" she said. I walked upstairs "Xai your friend um Stacy is here" I told him. "What did you just say?" He asked. "Your friend Stacy is downstairs." He got up and ran downstairs. "How the hell do you know where I stay. Get out." He said. "Xai please hear me out i need your help Please" she begged. "Nah you straight" he said "Please it's about your father" she pleaded. "Igh you got 2 minutes." "Okay so since we had our fallout I didn't know what to do with my life so I dropped out of school and got my auntie to get me a job at the club she stripped at and a month later I was kidnapped by him and he said he was going to come for Xaine and your mom. He said if I didn't get you to come to him he was going to kill everyone you love and three weeks later I heard about your mom" she confessed. "So why do you need my help?" "I want you to help me take him down" she said. "Igh" "Really your going to help me?" "Yea now get out before I changed my mind" he said. She left and he locked the door and looked at me. Please don't be mad at me please don't be mad I thought. "Next time someone knocks tell me before you open it" he told me. "Sorry" I said. "When you going back to school?" "I don't know tomorrow. Yea I got a lot of work to do and I guess I should go back home. My sister's been tripping" I told him. "Talk to me what's up with you and your sister?" He asked. "Well she doesn't pay attention to me it's always about her and her boyfriend or her and her friends so every since I meet you your the only one I can call to get away from her" I told him. "Well we have a couple of extra rooms do you want to live here?" He asked. "You know I really would say yes but I'm not old enough yet I don't even have my own job" I told him. "Plus as much as I want to get away they're all I got" i told him. "Okay but if you ever change your mind you always will have a room" he said and gave me a kiss on the forehead. Are you serious a forehead kiss that means he thinks of me as a sister 🤦🏽‍♀️. Xaine came running downstairs "Niaaaa I need help" he yelled. "With?" I asked. "Come on I'll show you" he dragged me upstairs to his room. "I need to get up there" he said referring to the top shelf in his closet. "Why?" I asked. "I throw my football up there" he said. "First of all it's threw and ok I'll get it. I got a small chair and reached for the ball. I reached a little more and fell down. "Shit" I mumbled. "What hap- Xai stopped mid-sentence and laughed. "You okay?" He asked helping me up. "No that shit aint funny" i said. "I like it when your mad" he whispered in my ear. "What are you trying to get anyways?" He asked. "My football" Xaine said. Xai reached up and got the ball and handed it to Xaine. "Show off" I mumbled. "You just mad because you fell". "Shut up" I said and we all laughed.
It was now 5:00 in the afternoon and we were on our 3rd movie. "Xai can you take me home now" I asked. "Yea ma let's go" We all got in the car and he drove me home. On the way their the nurses called and said his mom can come home today. "Well here you go" he said. "Thank you see you tomorrow after school" i said. "Igh". I got out and walked upstairs and went into the house. "Damn Nia where you been?"  Tasha asked. "Sorry I've been with my friends but my fantasy is over now I'm back to being me" I told her. "Yea whatever bye" she said. I went in my room and took a nap. When I woke up it was 9:00 p.m so I went back to sleep.

When I woke up again my alarm was going off. So I got up and did my usual and went to the bus stop. Xai rolled up in his original car. I got in and we went to my grandma house dropped off Xaine. "Yoo my niggas" trey said laughing. His ass was high. "Hey trey witcho high ass" I said giving him a hug. He laughed harder.  Xai just laughed. "Niaaa" I turned to see Jilly and Kirah. "Hey y'all" I said giving them a hug. "Wassup jill"  "Trey". "Y'all cute" I said. "No y'all cute" Kirah said referring to me and Xai. "Yea we are aren't we" he said putting his arm around me. I smiled.
"Y'all hoes ain't together" trey said laughing. "So and don't refer to me as a hoe" I said. "Chill Nia I was playing" he said. Shortly the bell rung and we went our separate ways.
Xai's POV
I was walking in the mall when. "Heyyy your Big Daddy Killa" some hoe said. "😂"I laughed in her face. "What the fuck if you don't get yo ass" I laughed. She rolled her eyes and walked off. "Roll em hoe witcho stiff ass weave" I said as I called Nia.
Nia- Hello?
Me- These hoes be trying me
Nia-What happened
She asked me laughing hard as ever.
Me- I'm in the mall when some girl came up to me with her hot ass breathe talking bout hey big daddy
She just laughed harder.
Nia- I'm dead asf but I got to go I'm in class.

Nia's POV
It was finally lunch and we all met up outside. "So y'all want to go somewhere?" asked Kirah. "Yeah" Trey said. We all got in his Escalade. "So what we bout to eat" jilly asked. "Shit ion kno" trey replied. "Let's go to Gyros or iHop, or umm Cici's" kirah said. "I agree with Salem's" jilly said. Then everyone else agreed too. We went there and stood at the counter. "Uhhh let me get bout a hunnid wings and 5 fries, 5 cups and a lot of blue cheese" Trey said.
He didn't even care how much it cost he just swiped his card. "Thanks shawty" he said to the cashier. We went back to school and they day went by so fast.
