"Hey Rita, long time no see." Mary rubbed her left elbow with her right palm. She looked at me and smiled a sad smile.

I got up and gave her a bone crushing embrace.

"What are you doing here? How did you know?" I asked.

"I saw the whole thing, I know you didn't do it. I saw the culprit but we don't know who the person is." She replied.

"What do you mean you don't know? Didn't you get a video or something?" I asked.

"I did get a video actually, but somehow, the killer saw me, took my phone and left with it. I wonder why I wasn't physically attacked or shot." Mary explained

That explains why the video was cut short and why it was sent to the cops. This person wanted to frame me.

"So you saw him? We can just go tell the cops who it is then." I smiled and raised my hands up.

Help was finally here.

"Rita, I don't know the persons gender. He or she was fully masked up and the voice wasn't even helping. It was somehow masked." She smiled sadly again.

This was officially messed up.

A masked voice humiliated me in the video. A masked voice was doing this. Why? Who was the person behind this mask!!!?

"Times up." Officer James had returned. Mary was escorted out of the investigation room and I just wished that maybe, just maybe officer James would bring good news.

"So Rita, you said that you haven't done drug dealing lately and that you don't know what cocaine looks like right?" He queried.

"Yeah. I already said that." I nodded.

"Well, since you're either a terrible liar or you're really good at denying, chief asked us to show you some hardcore evidence to jog your memory."

"I don't even know what hard drug looks like, so I'd like to see you try and jog a memory that doesn't exist." I relaxed in my chair and folded my arms.

"Then can you explain this?" He produced a nylon wrapped carton.

I quickly sat up.

That was the exact carton I gave Delphine's uncle.
So did this mean that Delphine had a hand in this?

"I told you, my friend gave me that stuff to give it to her uncle. I didn't know it was drugs."

"What friend is that?" He inquired

"I can't tell you that. I don't even know if that is the right carton. There are a billion cartons like that in this neighborhood. In fact, I want to make a phone call, that's if it is not against the law since helping your friend run an errand and running into your stupid ex boyfriend is now the same thing as murder and drug dealing." I ranted.

He smiled a patient smile. Maybe he also had a teenage daughter. So maybe he understood.

"Yes, you can make as many calls as you like." He replied.

I practically flew to the phone. I had a lot of people on my mind that I wanted to call right now, but there was one major person I needed to speak with.

Delphine.

Immediately I dialed the number, the next thing I heard was

'The number you dialed does not exist, please check the number and try again.'

You have got to be kidding me. How was that even possible?

I dialed Davids number, same thing.

I had one last person. Jess.
