"Um.. Eh.. You see.. Uh.. We were talking about a.. Brittney, tell him what we were talking about." I stuttered and gestured Brittney to the door. I opened the door completely so that Shane could see her.

"Oh about that, we were talking about a murderer alright but the 'her and cops' part was about um.. Chase! Yes, Chase knows exactly how to answer your question. Chase?" Brittney dumped everything on the poor unsuspecting boy.

Chase stood up and came towards the door.

"You see, we were actually talking about a scary movie we watched. What's the name? Oh yeah, Jennifer's body. Really creepy bro. So the girl, Jennifer is a blood sucking human eater but everyone thinks she is a normal highschool girl. So we were just saying what we think should have happened in the movie." He casually shrugged.

If there was anything I'd learnt today, it was that Chase Dwayne was a certified, extraordinary deceiving liar! I mean, I couldn't even think up something so believable.

"Dude! I saw the movie once. That chick is so hot and so scary." Shane said and shuddered at the thought of whatever was on his mind.

"I know right? Rita and Brittney here are even scared to talk about it. Girls will be girls." Chase smiled and gave Shane a brotherly hug.

Shane pinched my cheeks and cooed.

"Awwwn, Rita Darling, I will never allow harm to come to you. Come here." Shane   pulled me close and gave me a hug before leaving the room with Chase to probably go and re watch the so called 'Jennifer's body'.

Once I closed my door, Brittney started making gagging noises and went on and on about how she will never look at Shane the same way ever again.

"Well, there's a box of pizza in the living room that will not eat itself Darling." I smirked and went to get myself a slice. Or two. Or three. Okay I just took the entire box.

After watching a cheesy romantic movie with Brittney and crying my heart out, I took out my Bible and read John 15.
I went on until I got up to verse 12.

"My command is this: love each other as I have loved you."

It was straightforward. One of the perks of reading the bible was that it was straight to the point. No beating around the bush.

I dropped the book in my hand and thought about what I had read.

I had to love everyone. It was an order. I thought about the people I held dearly in my heart. They were few. My family. That was all.

I thought about my mum. She always showered her motherly love on everyone she met. Once, a girl tried to steal her purse in a busy grocery store. She caught the girl and instead of raising an alarm, she took the girl to her car and had a heart to heart conversion with the girl.

Turned out that the girl had lost her dad, mom and two siblings in a car accident and she was all alone in this world.

Mom worked really hard to put her in a very good foster family with only eight boys. They wanted a girl badly and they were really excited to finally have one.

I asked my mom why she went through all that stress and she simply said that she loved the little girl right from the time she caught her hands sneaking into her purse. She explained that if we all loved everyone we knew and met with the love of God, this world would be a better place.

There was a nagging thought at the back of my mind. God loved me. I had stolen, sneaked out to parties, lied, gone against half of my parents rules. I had basically hurt him but he still decided to love me and forgive me every single time.
