UNTIL THE END

Chapter Thirty Seven

Another month went by and Noah was finally allowed back home.

She went down nearly everyday to see Noah and stayed by his side as he began to recover. Things were looking up and Noah was eventually told his recovery would be a long process but he would get better.

He was diagnosed with a brain condition and was not allowed to ride his bike anymore. He still could do daily activities and day to day things but for now he had to be careful and take it slow until his head could heal properly.

He wore a big white bandage wrapped around his head to protect it as it healed and a few on his body where he had some bruising.

Many months went by and eventually it had already been a year since Noah's accident. Adaline and him went on many more dates and began to get back to normal, obviously things were not the same as before but they felt better.

Noah and Adaline had met when Noah was 18 and Adaline was 17 but now they were both in their early 20s. They had managed to fight through all that hit them and Adaline had finished school after everything she had been through she still managed to pass without fail and if she wanted be able to get into the university she dreamed of.

She decided to take a gap year, so she could spend more time with Noah as after the summer ended he had been accepted into a internship at a manual working place and would be going for it, starting off lightly though while he was still recovering.

Adaline knew they would be apart for a while but she was happy and overly proud of Noah so she didn't mind.

She knew they would find a way, they always managed to.

They laid down by a stream as they stared up at the clouds, their hands interlinked and Adaline's head resting on Noah's chest.

She felt his chest going up and down slowly and his heart beating rhymatically in his chest. She smiled feeling some relief because hearing that made her realise how happy she was he was alive and awake.

"Noah.." Adaline said as she leant up from laying on him and turned to see him laying back resting his head down onto one shoulder as he gazed back over at her.

"Yes, Adaline" he replied.

"What do you want to do with the rest of your life?" Adaline asked confusing Noah where this had all suddenly come from.

"What do you mean?" Noah asked.

"Like do you know what you want to do? Do you see yourself with me?" she asks back.

"Want me to be honest?" Noah asked back.

"Yes" Adaline boldly replied.

"Then yes..I do see myself with you. Truthfully I see myself with you years on from now" Noah admitted and Adaline couldn't help but smile.

"Really?" She gasped happy and surprised by his reply.

"Yes really, I want to spend the rest of my life with you, Adaline you truly make me happy and I love you for that" Noah replies as she leans over and kisses Adaline.

"You make me happy as well, I love you too" Adaline replies as she pulls away smiling, cupping her hand around his chin.

Noah then slowly pushed her down onto the grass below them and began to kiss her more.

"Mhm Noah..what- what are you doing?" Adaline asked through their kiss as she pulled away gazing up at him as he now laid slightly on top of her.

"Do you want to do this?" he asked.

"Now? Oh..uh Are you sure..what about your head?" Adaline asked back and Noah laughed.

"For once, please stop worrying about me, alright im fine. So..do you?" Noah asked back and Adaline waited a moment.

She had been with Noah for a long time now and she truly loved him with all her heart. She knew she wanted this but now she wasn't sure, she was mostly worried for Noah's condition more than anything but like he said, he was fine. And so far he had been.

"Okay..yes..yes I want this" Adaline replied as she leant up and kissed Noah again.

They began to kiss more as he pushed down onto her and moaned as things began to escalate.

"You definitely sure? 100%?" Noah asked one more time still cautious incase he was pressuring Adaline.

"Yes" she laughed "definitely..Yes yes with a cherry on top" she joked back before kissing him again and things continued once more.

They rolled around on the grass, as things rapidly increased and clothing was flung to the side; a bra and boxers landing on the tree branch above, hanging, while the rest of their clothes were scattered around them.

A while later they laid next to one another, Adaline resting her head on Noah's chest again as they covered themselves underneath a blanket they had brought for a picnic earlier.

Noah leant down and kissed Adaline's forehead and she smiled as they laid there staring up at the sky.

Noah interlinked their hands and they rested together, peacefully falling asleep curled up against one another.
