"I'm pregnant" she stated and Noah froze.
"I'm pregnant Noah" she repeated as a slight laugh escaped her mouth.
"You're-you're" Noah trying to speak.
"Yes, and this is the reason I'm leaving you. You said so yourself that you couldn't be in a household where only one of us worked and well, when I have this baby, that will happen" Adaline exclaimed but Noah just stood shocked.
He tried to retain this new information as it transferred from his mind. He couldn't believe what he was hearing, something he had so badly wanted with Adaline had come true. He was going to be a father, and he was going to have a baby with Adaline. They were going to be a family.
"Adaline..." Noah went to say but Adaline cut him off.
"I know what you're going to say and.." Adaline spoke quietly but Noah cut her off too.
"Adaline! That's the best news I've ever heard. I've dreamt of having a family with you forever. I want to have this baby with you" Noah exclaimed as he wrapped his hands around her face and she cried with joy.
She hadn't expected him to say those words but the same ones rang through her head constantly.
"I want to have this baby with you"
Constantly over and over again, through her head as she felt the emotions overtake her. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. Noah wanted to have a child with her, he wanted this. He wanted to stay with her, he wasn't going to leave her.
She felt the tears stream down her cheek as the widest smile was spread across her face just like Noah's, as she shot forward and kissed him hard on the lips feeling the relief that he was okay with it.
She kissed him a little more passionately for a moment longer before he pulled her into a tight embrace and they held one another as they felt all the emotions take over.
This was it, they were going to start a family.
