The sun began to go down, it was decreasing over the horizon of the lake. Noah and Adaline were stood over on the bank side. Adaline stood gazing up at the view wondering how something could be so stunning. Back home they had sunsets but never as nice views as this one was.
"Wow, I could stare at this view for hours" Adaline exclaimed keeping her eyes stuck to the view of the sun slowly going down.
Noah stood next to her, but instead of viewing the sunset like Adaline was, he didn't realise but he was staring at her.
"Isn't it just beautiful?" she blurted out spinning round to Noah who quickly changed his view to the sun before looking back.
"Uh oh yeah" he quickly said trying to cover up the fact he had been staring at her, but she noticed.
"Shall we go, it's getting pretty dark?" Noah added and Adaline turned from looking at the view and raised her eyebrow.
"What? Someone scared of the dark?" She teased but Noah just laughed.
"No, just thought maybe your aunt wouldn't be very happy you coming back so late that's all" he exclaimed and she nodded slowly.
"Oh so you're worried about me?" Adaline teased once again, she had fun doing this, it was so easy.
"Me? No I couldn't care less if you got eaten by the monsters that come out" he teased back laughing as he began to walk off.
"Oh thanks! I would've saved you but since you've said that now you can get eaten too" Adaline snapped back sticking her tongue out and crossing her arms jokily.
"Well if I was eaten which, handsome hero would come and save you?" Noah said raising an eyebrow.
"Handsome hero? God knows, i have yet to see one" Adaline snapped back giving Noah as sassy look.
"Ouch" Noah replied pretending to be hurt.
"Oh sorry, did I hurt your big ego?" Adaline teased quivering her bottom lip jokily, before laughing.
With that Noah just walked off ahead ignoring her clearly not having a better comeback. Adaline stood a moment still laughing before running after him.
"Hey! wait for me" she shouted as she rushed after him.
A while later they walked up the deserted road back towards the farm house. By this point the sun had nearly completely gone down, their figures only appearing as black outlines to others.
"God, I could live here forever" Adaline exclaimed as she spun around with her hands in the air.
Noah just walked alongside watching her and laughing gently, this girl was something else.
"Do you not ever get tired?" he joked clearly noticing how energetic she was.
"It's just so fun here, how comes you don't do this everyday?!" She exclaimed laughing in enjoyment.
"Not all of us get excited over things like this as you do" Noah replied.
"Yeah well bite me" she snapped back before she strolled along carelessly throwing her hands down by her side swinging them.
