Just then the nurses came and they took Adaline down to another room for some other scans to check the baby to have a thorough check.
Noah sat impatiently in the waiting area for Adaline to come out and for them to find out the news, they had no idea what was going to happen and whether their baby was going to be okay.
Noah sat shaking slightly as he tried to focus on the positive and imagine Adaline waddling out of the room and over to him with a huge smile on her face and it will be that everything was okay and that their baby was fine.
He sighed hoping desperately that, that was true and that they would be okay. He didn't know how he would cope if he lost the baby or even how Adaline would. She would be crushed losing baby after being so excited and ready for this.
Just then a nurse came along and walked up to Noah, he leant up to her. She held a clipboard and had a neutral face which made it hard for him to tell whether or not the news was good or bad.
"Noah Giddons?" She asked and he nodded instantly.
"Yes, that's me" he shot back as he got up from his seat desperately wanting to know what had happened.
"Come with me, she is in the room just down this hall" she replied as she began to walk ahead and Noah slowly followed behind her.
He felt his breath shaken as he walked down the white corridor, getting closer and closer to the room where Adaline was. He was unsure of what he was about to find out and whether it would be good or bad.
They turned the corner and followed along towards the end door before the nurse stood allowing Noah to walk in.
He slowly stepped forward as he made his way in.
He turned and walked inside...
