The night comes and collapses upon the Earth. Lola snaps back into reality, rising from the water she was trying to sink herself in. Though, she was struggling to reach the surface.

Padding upstairs into the darkness, the pair go into their own rooms. After a short goodnight and a peck on the cheek, she goes towards her bed.

Lola lays there, unable to move. In the back of her mind, she knows whats going to come.

A demon slowly comes out of her mind and whispers cunningly. A clear and loud voice throwing rocks at her, causing her to sink slowly.

'What if you die tomorrow?'

'What if there is no afterlife?'

'Your mom will die eventually.'

Lola's breathing becomes shallow and uneven. Her mind focuses in and out as her body becomes the more prominent presence of her. Her limbs were unable to move even when she tried desperately to pull them apart. Lola's heart races against her chest. Her clothes suddenly feel so hot and unnecessary. A single tear slips down her cheek.

Then, she drowns.
