Lola treads back home. Her boots were tapping lightly against the crystal ground, making a thump noise as she moves. By now, her shoulders are quite sore from carrying that dreaded backpack all day.

When she finally reaches her safe haven, she lets out the happiest smile she has given today.

She runs in and greets the peace and homeliness of the living room. The familiar warm colours cooling her senses, bringing her stress level down. She smells the whiff of her mom's spaghetti cooking. Lola's surroundings immediately relax her tense form. Slowly, she walks past her thousands of memories, all placed within this home.

Lola greets her mother as they wrap each other in a bear hug. Immediately, they fell back into their daily routine of simply admiring the useless junk on TV.

But, what can she say? Screens are her escape.
