The trio sat together, the open ended yet quiet atmosphere feeling slightly more comfortable. Riley was happily munching on a brutally disgusting burger from the cafe lady. What he didn't know was that it was basically 90% grease.
Lola shudders, remembering the stinky liquid being poured into the base of the burger. The cook was completely unaware she had been in front of the displays, watching her in disgust.
There was lovely chattering from among them. The former tense environment from days ago faded into nothingness. Now it was soft and sheer. Even the short pauses of quietness didn't last that long.
Lola and Victoria were cackling side by side as they watch Riley argue randomly with another guy sitting with them, simply because Christina and Tyra has mysteriously disappeared again. The unknown person lightly planted with a knee on the seat. The two bickered back and forth.
Lola builds up some courage and nudges the girl beside her gently. She turns and raises an eyebrow. She went close to her ear, with a hand covering her lips and her ear, so Riley couldn't hear.
"I think we'll be great friends."
Victoria softly smiles, before nervously resting her hand on her bony shoulder.
"Me too."
