Unlike before, Lola didn't feel alone anymore. Of course, she doesn't mean she felt alone with Riley, but, at times she felt vulnerable to him. This happened especially when they had problems.

But, Victoria and her never got into fights. They understood each other. She knew when the red-haired girl was upset and she knew whenever she didn't want to talk.

She was still slightly wary, after that day. She didn't want to see any harm come to her best friend. But, it never stopped. One particular day, she had enough and despite Victoria's protests, she confronted Samantha.

Lola could still remember their harsh argument. She was screaming and trying to force her to stop bullying Victoria and tears streaming down Samantha's face. Their voices were shouting into oblivion. Then, images sparking of Tyra's interference came to mind. She had pushed Lola back. All of the sudden she couldn't take it anymore and smacked Samantha straight across the cheek and ended their friendship.

She couldn't handle them.

She couldn't handle it.

And she knew Victoria was worth it.

She was always worth it.
