A couple days had passed since that fateful and sacred lunch break. The one that pushed Victoria and Lola to a new level of friendship. She was excited yet absolutely terrified.

The pair had started become closer, much to Riley's surprise. He thought they would never get along. Yet, he was still grateful that his best friend gave her a chance. Lola had finally started to open up to her even despite being an extremely reserved person.

It was the last period, and Lola was still slightly disheveled from the night before. Even though it had been a while, she knew there was no getting around a death anxiety attack. It would have come around sooner or later.

The thought put her into distress. There was no way around this. She was always going to suffer, even as hard as she tried. Thinking about it was so unbearable that she could feel herself shaking, about to cry.

As she continues treading through the hallways she hears sobbing. Out of curiosity and concern, she carefully tiptoes towards the noise. Looking around the corner she sees a familiar figure, crouched down. Their head buried into their knees and on their arms were several bruises and they looked mangled with. It looked as if someone beat them up which makes Lola livid even thinking about it.

Approaching the figure, she lightly nudges them. They look up and jump on Lola, wrapping them in a hug. She is quick to hug back and they are tangled in an embrace. Tears continue to roll down their cheeks and they start lightly hiccuping.

"It'll be alright Victoria. I'm here for you."
