After that night, Lola seemed slightly more timid than usual. She was confused to as how dark her thoughts were getting. Before, she was only concerned about death in general. But now, she is worrying about the future. The fact that other people will leave this world and possibly not ever be conscious again, is beginning to haunt her waking moments.
Her mind was very all over the place, causing her school day to be rambunctious. Lola kept trying to distract herself from the demons trying to push their way through. But knowing she would have to meet with her best friend and his girlfriend soon, the stress begins to build up.
Right now, she was waiting in the Tim Hortons with Riley, waiting for Victoria to show up.
"I'm here!"
A tall figure comes jogging towards us in a very girly manner, which made her scrunch her nose up a bit.
Riley immediately lights up and he straightens his posture. He gets up and kisses his girlfriend warmly.
Lola rolls her eyes. She couldn't wait for this to be over.
