he felt someone's hands on his shoulders as that person tried to shake jungkook awake. that person succeeded though.

jungkook sat up, eyes half-open as he rubbed them. "explain what?"

"this!" zelo showed jungkook an image in his phone.

jungkook's eyes went big when he saw the image. it was taehyung and him, when they were out to buy streetfoods.

"i-i..." jungkook stutters.

"you're casually hanging out with taehyung! you one lucky bitch." zelo flicks jungkook in the forehead.

"ow! you need to stop cursing." jungkook rubs his 'wounded' forehead.

"i want to hang out with hoseok hyung again," zelo's shoulder dropped as he looked down on the floor, playing with his toes. "i wonder if he stills remember me."

jungkook pats his bestfriend's shoulder. "i'm sure he does! you were friends back then right? not just friends... but bestfriends!"

zelo smiled softly and chuckled. "i hope he does."

"don't lose hope!" an idea popped into jungkook's mind. "i'll tell taetae hyung about this and we'll have you both communicating again!"

zelo looked up at jungkook with big eyes. "y-you'll do that?"

"of course! you're still my bestfriend, even though you don't treat me like one." zelo punching him in the arm.
