I woke up the next morning to the smell of squirrel.

Carrie must be up already.

I looked over at Alex who was sleeping soundly in his carseat.

I went to Carries bag in search for the Tylonel.

"Hey Carrie?"

"Yeah?" I heard from outside.

"Where did you put the pills last night?"

"I put them in your bag." She said walking in with the squirrel.

"Thank you." I said eating and then taking medicine.

We sat in silence for a good five minutes.

It wasn't an awkward silence, it just was quiet for a while.

"We should leave." I stated, breaking the silence.

"Yeah, I was thinking the same thing."

"Should we start packing now so we can leave by noon?"

"That's sounds perfect." She smiled.

We spent the rest of the morning double checking that we had everything.

After that I limped to the car while she carried Alex and his carseat.

I opened the back door so she could strap in the carseat then hopped in the front.

"How's your leg? Any better?" She looked over as she started the car.

"A little but not much."

"I'm sorry, I should have come and found you when you didn't come home."

"Carrie you couldn't have done anything. If anything they would try to kill you too." I explained.

"I just feel as though I could have done something."

"There was nothing anyone could have done but me, and all I could do was run away."

"You must have run pretty fast though." She smiled.

"For a person with an arrow sticking out of their leg, I think I did pretty well."

We both laughed.

"Hey, I have an old iPod that we could plug in. Wanna listen to it?"

"What song are on it?" I smiled.

I missed listening to music with dad and Merle in the car. Even if they both sang pretty badly.

"Mostly disney songs."

"Which movies?"

"Here," she said handing it to me. "find something."

I scrolled through, Lion King, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Ariel, Cinderella, Pocahontas, and Mulan.

I went to the Mulan folder and saw I'll make a man out of you. I pressed play on the iPod.

Carries face lit up as the song began.

"Lets get down to business. To defeat, the huns!" She sang.

She had a great voice.

After listening to at least 30 disney songs we found a secluded place to park for the night.

"You didn't tell me you could sing." I laughed as I turned off the music.

"Oh, I was in chorus since elementary school."

"You sounded amazing."

"I'm very passionate about disney." She said with a very serious face.
