My name is Riyae or now Son Riyae and recently, I was told I was adopted. It shocked me surprisingly because my "parents" and "siblings" would always joke that I'm different because I was slightly a shade tanner than them. I never thought it'd come true though. When they sat me down and told me the whole story, I didn't know what to think. They told me my real name, who my parents were, and what my nationality really was.
My real parents want to see me and want me to move to South Korea with them this summer and stay there.
I'm in my room, thinking and processing what happened.
I guess I'm Korean.
