We arrived and I'm now in Seoul, South Korea! I don't know much about the culture here but there's nothing to worry about, right?
I arrived to my new home and when I opened the door, I was welcomed with screams saying, "WELCOME HOME!!!" I got surprised and flinched my body. My real mother came up to me and hugged me so tight. I saw what I'm sure is my brother and father, smiling.
"I'm so glad to see you all grown up!" My mother said, still hugging me. "Oh, let her breath, dear!" She heard my dad's voice and let me go. "I apologize for scaring you." She said shyly. "It's okay, mom. It was a comforting welcome." "Great, glad your happy! Now, this is your older brother, Ji-hoon." She pointed to the guy standing there with a forced smile. He just waved at me.
They showed my new bedroom and they showed me around their huge house.
They had a backyard with a pool, trampoline, and swings.
The house was two stories: the top was where the bedrooms and bathrooms where and the bottom had the kitchen, living room and a game room with pool, air hockey, and a racing game.
"Why do you have so much stuff??"
"Your mother and I work as surgeons so we get paid very well."
"How come you never told me?"
"It was a surprise."
"Well, all these surprises are making me hungry.."
They took me out to eat and we all got to know each other well.
Jihoon is very quiet around me.So, I'll start school in the second semester coming up in August. My parents already registered me in so I guess I don't have to worry about doing that.
Jihoon goes to Hanlim Multi Art School so that's pretty cool, I've heard. My parents always brag on him. It's annoying but it's cool, I guess.
