Once, the Sewoon and I left school, we started making our way to meet up with my brother. Jihoon texted me saying that Kangji was going to be there to say a proper goodbye. It'll be weird not being able to see him anymore. He was kinda like the "dad" of the group, even though he would never admit it. Kangji felt more like an older brother to me, older than Jihoon, of course. And I'm sure he'd consider me a little sister...maybe a distant cousin but at least he cares.
We continue to walk, not saying much to each other since we're both a little worn out from school. I let my thoughts run and the longer I walk, the closer I get to seeing Sunwoo again.
I hope he doesn't mention anything about Saturday. I don't feel like explaining my actions since I had no control over them. But I still wonder if he had anything to do with the blanket...

Sewoon and I finally arrived at Hanlim high school and the guys were all talking and laughing amongst each other about any funny moment they had with Kangji that they could remember.
"...that one time we were in class and K was doing his presentation and his voice cracked and everyone made fun of his afterwards!" Jihoon was sure to never let Kangji forget that moment.
I looked at Sunwoo and suddenly all the side effects started happening once again, and seeing his charming smile wasn't helping.

After laughing a bit more, they noticed that I was just standing there with Sewoon, not understanding their many inside jokes.
"Oh, I just realized you were here!" Kangji exclaimed.
"Yeah, we've been standing here for 3 minutes so far." I said as I let out a soft chuckle.
We all continued to talk and laugh some more until our cheeks were in literal pain.
"I guess we should say our goodbyes, then." Said Chansuk.
We all sighed and nodded.
One by one, we bid our farewells to Kangji.
"Make sure not to forget about us when you're internationally famous." Danny says jokingly.
Chansuk continued to tease.
"Yeah, don't be like Sunwoo and completely ghost us when he's with his group!"
Sunwoo just laughed and didn't say anything else.
Kangji started to speak after calming down from Chansuk's comment.
"I can't promise anything but I'll try to keep in touch with you guys as much as I can."
Sewoon and I felt a bit left out but this was a special moment for their friendship so we tried out best to be understanding.
Kangji then walked up to me and we both said goodbye to each other.
"Don't do anything stupid while I'm gone. I know you're better than those lousy guys I dare call my friends so don't let them treat you like crap, alright? That's my job." Kangji ruffles the top of my head and smiled. I couldn't help but feel touched by his...nice words.
As I was about to stand next to my brother to watch Kangji leave, he stopped me.
"Actually, there's something I wanted you to know before I left since I don't know when I'd be able to communicate with you."
I gave him a confused look. Kangji never really acted seriously with me so I felt a bit nervous.
He took me away from the group so that they wouldn't be able to hear what he was about to say.
"What do you think about Sunwoo?"
I was appalled by his sudden question about Sunwoo.
"Umm, I don't know. I think he's cool
and...nice."
Cool and nice??
"Are you sure about that?" Kangji said slyly.
Uh oh
"What do you mean? I only see him as a
f-friend, n-nothing more." I try my best not to sound like I'm lying, though I'm not doing a good job.
He gave me a "really??" type of look.
"You might be right, but I don't think Sunwoo can say the same about you."
What does he mean by that???
"Wait what? What do you know??"
It makes sense he'd know if Sunwoo was interested in me, but I didn't think Kangji would just tell me.
"I don't know much since he didn't tell me anything but I do know what I saw."
"What did you see?" This suspense is making me pretty anxious...

FLASHBACK TO SATURDAY NIGHT
[Kangji's POV]

I woke up to the quiet sound of the TV playing in the living room. I opened my eyes and saw that everyone was asleep on the floor.
These kids think they can just do whatever they want in my house??
Then something caught my attention: seeing Sunwoo on Riyae's shoulder...
Sunwoo sleeping on a girls shoulder ? Never thought I'd see the day.

My head pounding from the drinking, I
decide to go to my room and be able to sleep more comfortably. As I was about to move myself, I saw Sunwoo woke up. He started to look around, trying to remember what was happening before he fell alsleep. He then stared at Riyae for a second, while smiling.
Okay, weird...
I'm guessing he saw that Riyae was laying her head back on the edge of the couch and noticed how uncomfortable she must've been or something like that. As I kept on watching, Sunwoo quickly got up and walked upstairs. Only after a few seconds, he can back with a blanket and layed it on top of her.
When did Sunwoo become so caring, especially towards a girl?
Sunwoo then sat back down beside Riyae and slowly moved her head to his shoulder. Feeling very confused as to what I just witnessed, I didn't move a muscle.
It's probably not a big deal but why would Sunwoo do such a romantic thing for Riyae? Could he possibly...like her ?

END OF FLASHBACK

As I heard this, I tried my best to not start smiling.
This was all too good to be true, though, there's no way Sunwoo did that for me!
"How do I know you're not lying?" I suddenly blurt out.
"I don't lie, especially not with these type of things, and certainly not about Sunwoo." He shot back.
Well, maybe Sunwoo did do all of that, but it doesn't have to mean anything.
"Fine, but what am I supposed to do with this information?" I ask.
Kangji stood there, thinking of an answer.
"I will say this, it's not common for Sunwoo to be interested in a girl, let alone be really close to one; He's not into romance or anything like that, you should consider yourself lucky."
Should I feel lucky? All I feel is like puking right now.
"If you're at all interested in him, I say go for it. I kinda sensed you two would have something when you and Sunwoo first met. And once I started getting to know you more, I realized you'd be a good match for him."
Where's the nearest trash can???
"He's a great guy and I would be glad to see him finally get a girlfriend after all this time." Kangji chuckled after finishing his sentence.
He waited for me to give him some sort of response but I couldn't figure out what to say.
"If you ever need any help or advice, ask your brother for my number. I may mess with you a lot but I've grown fond of Jihoon's little sister."
I finally let myself smile and we both made our way back to the rest of the group.
"And you Sewoon," Kangji suddenly spoke and startled Sewoon.
"Y-yes?"
"Keep doing you, bro."
Sewoon was trying hard not to smile and act cool.
"You too...b-bro."

We all watched Kangji leave, then we all started waving to each other and going our own ways. I waved goodbye to Sewoon and told him that we'd talk later. I started walking with Jihoon when all of a sudden I hear someone call my name.
"Wait, Riyae!"
I turn around and see Sunwoo running up to me. It took a lot out of me to stay calm after all that Kangji told me.
"Yeah?"
Sunwoo took a minute to straighten himself out.
"I actually had fun hanging out with you Saturday."
Wait he actually liked hanging out with me??
"I had fun too." I replied.
"Maybe we can hangout again soon."
He then proceeded to take out his phone and handed it to me.
"I was hoping I could get your number so we can set something up."
I froze. I couldn't believe Sunwoo was actually, literally, really asking for my number.
I quickly grabbed his phone and put in my contact information.
Jihoon was still walking ahead since he didn't notice I stopped because he was too busy being on his phone.
I handed Sunwoo his phone back and I'm sure I saw him smile.
"Thanks, I'll text you later." He waved and left the opposite way.
I stood there, frozen again, trying to process what just happened.
"Hey, what are you doing?! I'm going to be late to my meeting with my group!" Jihoon yelled from behind me.
After snapping back into reality, I quickly turned around and caught up to Jihoon.

Continuation of FLASHBACK
[Kangji's POV]

Could he possibly...like her?
Trying not to laugh at the thought of Sunwoo having a crush on a girl, I decided to just brush it off and make my way to my comfortable and cozy bed.
I slowly got off the couch, trying to make as little noise at possible so I wouldn't wake anybody up. I took a few steps as I crossed the living room, infront of the TV. As I did so, I caught Sunwoo's attention.
He stared at me with wide eyes.
Huh, I guess he didn't really want me to see what he just did, not that he expected it anyways.
With a smirk on my face, I look at him and say to him teasingly, "Just don't hurt her." and I walked away.
