Sunwoo: Maybe you can stop by
. . .
This is not really happening. This is not really happening. This is not really happening!!
I sat still on the edge of my bed, frozen in shock with my mouth agape.
My eyes better be deceiving me
I take a second to process the message and with a sudden jolt back to earth.
Okay, I need to reply before Sunwoo changes his mind

Me: Really?

Sunwoo: Yeah, it'll be fun!

I was given their address, though I wasn't really supposed to know. I insisted that it'd be dangerous if they invited me to their dorm since they could get into trouble with their company. Apparently, Sunwoo told me that no one would tell and they'd be careful about it. I didn't think he would go through such measures just to hang out with me. He told me that they were all practically begging to meet me.
The Boyz know about me?! And I'm actually going to meet them?!?

After panicking for a solid five minutes, I start making my way to their dorm. It's actually not too far from my house, but my excitement might be changing my perception of time...

I arrive outside their building and text Sunwoo that I'm outside. He comes outside and leads me to where everyone is. We stop before entering and Sunwoo whispers to me,
"Don't be nervous, just act normal and have fun."
I gulped nervously and nodded. He opened the door and we took our shoes off before walking into the living room.
A few guys are sitting in the living room and I can hear others talking in the kitchen.
"She's here!" Someone sitting on the couch says enthusiastically.
"Don't scare her like that, Eric." Says another sitting on the floor.
I smile with a shy look on my face, feeling a bit overwhelmed. I can tell Sunwoo is also nervous, not sure why.
As the others in the kitchen heard what I assume to be Eric had said, they all came to the living room to see.
"Oh, she really came?"
"This is gonna so much fun!"
"Look at Sunwoo, he's so nervous!"
I greet them all politely and they greet back. I wish I had studied up a bit before meeting them; there are so many, I don't know whos who...
Sunwoo and I sat on the couch while everyone resumed to their activities.
"I'm sorry for everyone's actions in advanced." He says while scratching the back of his head shyly.
"It's okay, don't worry about it." I chuckled

A couple of minutes as passed and everyone from the kitchen had joined the others in the living room.
"The food's almost ready, it's just sitting in the stove heating up."
Everyone fixed themselves sitting in a circle. Someone then began to speak.
"Before we begin our game night, I think we should individually introduce ourselves to our guest since there are so many of us."
Everyone gave a light laughter and the guy next to whoever spoke began to introduce himself.
They went around the circle, one by one saying their names. Once they finished, the leader, named Sangyeon, gave me a challenge to see if I could remember their names.

I love a good challenge but I'm not too good with my memory...I hope I don't completely embarrass myself right now.

I start with Sangyeon. I remember him by his gentle and calming eyes.
"Next is..." I pause to think a bit
He has big, soft eyes, semi small lips, and a handsome face. While they all are very attractive, this one is somehow a different kind of attractive.
"Hyunjae?" Everyone smiles and Hyunjae gives a small clap.
I can tell the next guy apart from the others easily. He has strong eyes, thick eyebrows, and a long neck. There something about his face that's easy to differentiate from the others, I just can't find the words to explain.
"Q right?" His face brightens and smiles and I say the correct name.
I got the next three names right, though I almost said the wrong name on the third guy.
"Jacob."
"Juyeon."
"Hwall...? No, wait! It's Kevin."
I was able to correctly guess Younghoon and Hwall, but I forgot one of their names, Juhaknyeon, and I mixed New with Eric since they were sitting next to each other.

Everyone congratulated me for getting most of their names right, though they honestly admitted they didn't think I'd get even two right. We laughed it off and began playing games. Sunwoo helped me a lot in the beginning since I was a bit shaky because everyone was so into the game, it intimidated me a bit. I got used to them more and more as we continued to play. Once we began playing Mafia, a fun game I used to play where I used to live, I was completely out of my shell and my competitive side care out. I was among the ones yelling at the other players, accusing them of being the mafia. I could tell that Sunwoo and the others were taken aback at first that a loud voice can come from a young girl they just met.
Kevin and a few others jumped up and ran to the kitchen, forgetting that there was even food cooking. Everyone dies laughing and teasing the others for forgetting.
I look over at Sunwoo and for a moment, it's as if time has stopped. I stop laughing for a second to appreciate the situation that I am in: I'm here with Sunwoo and The Boyz, in their dorm playing games and laughing until our cheeks hurt too much, getting to know them all and creating a bind I didn't think would happen this fast. Seeing his radiant smile as he laughs with the others brings me immense joy. Who knew that a single smile from someone could make me feel so euphoric.

What are these feelings that I have? It's like they're familiar yet strange. This isn't my first time being interested in a guy but it feels different this time, like it's special.

Time resumes and they bring out the almost burnt food. A few others bring the plates and utensils, one of them being Sunwoo. He kindly brings me them and offers to serve me food.
"It's okay, Sunwoo, you don't have to." I try to not as polite as I can.
"I want to, you're our guest. Plus, I'm sure my hyungs would punish me if I don't."
Everyone serves themselves and I can see a few watching as Sunwoo hands me my food.
"Look at Sunwoo being a gentleman!" calls out Changmin.
Sunwoo stares him down with a subtle evil eye and turns to me and shakes his head, telling me to just ignore them. It's actually funny how they all tease Sunwoo, I almost feel second hand embarrassment.
We begin eating our food, though it almost seems as if Haknyeon and Hyunjae are practically swallowing their food whole. We all begin to converse and it only took a few minutes before everyone started asking questions about me and my life in America. I was shocked to know that they already knew that much.
"Sunwoo talks a lot about you, actually." Says Eric nonchalantly. Sunwoo elbows his side and Eric lets out a quite groan.
He actually talks about me to his friends?? No wonder they're so interested in getting to know me...
I explain to them about my whole
past, beginning from when my parents went to America, to growing up with a Hispanic family (hence being fluent in Spanish, thought I am slowly forgetting since I don't use it anymore), and finally, meeting my parents and brother in June.
When speaking, they all sat there without saying a single word. They didn't even interrupt with a question or anything. Once I had finished, they still sat there quietly, trying to process everything.
Sunwoo and I both just looked at each other, then looked back at the rest of the guys, waiting for them to say something.
Finally, Hyunjae opens his mouth speak.
"You're sure that wasn't just a dream or anything? That pretty much sounds like a dream right?"
I shake my head no.
"Of course is wasn't a dream, that sounds like the plot in a drama." Says Younghoon.
"It can't be real, right?" Hwall looks to the others to see if anyone else agrees.
Sunwoo suddenly starts to speak.
"Guys, she's not lying. I know it sounds strange; it took me a while to believe it too but I know her brother. He's not one to lie and there's nothing to disprove her story."
He sounded pretty annoyed at everyone for not believing me. It was kinda sweet of him to defend me.
"Yeah, why would she come up with full, detailed story like that if it wasn't true?" Sangyeon also defended me.
"You're right, it's just so uncommon for that to happen..." Haknyeon scratches his head, still in a bit of confusion.
We all continue to talk about other stuff for a while until I look at the time.
"It's already 10?!!" I jump up from where I was sitting and went to grab my stuff.
"Oh, we haven't been checking the time, it is getting kinda late for you guys who have school tomorrow." Sangyeon says as he looks to Hwall, Eric, and Sunwoo.
I say my farewells to everyone and thank them for having me over. I walk to the door but before I reach for my shoes, Sunwoo comes up to me.
"Let me at least walk you outside."
