You and I part 4

Ever since she woke up, he became......more clingy.

Although they have already done the most intimate things in the world and have confessed their hearts to each other. But, she, is still the same Jin Seom Mi that gets shy and blushes easily.

When he advances fiercely, she steps back and gets bashful.

His heart is slightly hurt....he only wants to become closer to her, it's such a simple thing. Yet because he's afraid, he's wavering.

Yes, indeed, he became more afraid. That is because right now, he has someone that he treasures.

Deep at night, the island is peaceful and quiet. Moonlight gently falls onto the window. He would sometime think back to how she died in his arms that day, and all the pain and despair he felt.....

She opens her eyes as if she has sensed something.

In the pitch of darkness, only a small bedside lamp and the moonlight illuminates the room. The freshness of the plants gently drifts into the room through the window.

"You can't fall asleep?" She asks

His breathing is brushing along her ear.

He mutters, caressing her forehead.

"Is it....because you are worried that I'm just one of your dream?"

A moment of silence, she asks.

He answers after a while.

Because of the fear of losing, the fear that everything is just a dream. Someone who is fearless as him will also feel scared.

She turns over slightly onto her side, she lightly presses herself against his chest.

Her long and silky hair brushes his chin.

She holds out her hand and presses it onto of his heart.

"Jin Seon Mi is making a contract with The great sage Son Oh Gong, doesn't matter if it's a good dream or a bad dream, we will be together forever......."

"You don't even know what the bad dream is like, and you are promising together forever------"

He holds onto her hand.

Under the moonlight, her calm eyes stare into his.

"I'm so sorry.....to let you experience my death."

She says.

Her senses are still sharp, straight away saw through what he was thinking.

His heart, at that moment, another kind of feeling oozes into his heart.

He's startled.

She is kissing him softly. Just like the moonlight. Softly, slowly. His heart starts to float away from the darkness.

Jin Seon Mi.........Back then............You really.................Scared me to death.............

So I guess, this, is what you feel after you retrieve something precious.

He starts to kiss her back.

No lust, it's just, something even softer and more gentle than that.

He kisses her moist lips, her breathing, brushes along the tip of his nose gently.

She is so close.......All those moments of separation was broken down in an instance.

He finally feels tired.

His tense heart was exhausted.

His heart was submerged in turbulent water, but now, can finally land on something solid and feel relieved.

Her apologies and worries have all converted into love, filling his heart.

He holds her close and falls into deep sleep.

All the nightmares are all over.
