When they were eating, he continues to throw out random questions.

It doesn't feel right.

She's not someone with terrible memory. But anything to do with that particular year, she has no recollection at all......

Things like major events, graduation teacher and such. She doesn't even remember her graduation excursion? Human should be able to retain their memories from their childhood when they are about 4-5 years old. She remembered things before and after that year, but why not that year..........

"Son Oh Gong, you asked me a lot of questions today." She states.

"I've already told you that I don't mind what happened to our contract before. But......how come I feel like you are really bothered by it?"

"I just wanted to know what happened to you in those years when your fairy-nim ran away." He replies.

She stops for a second and smiles. "Although grandma passed away early, I went to live with my uncle. Although uncle didn't like me a lot. But, he provided me with all the things he could."

Something feels strange.

Isn't that what happened?

How come when she said those words, she feels so uncomfortable?

Is it because she had the dream earlier this morning? Something feels weird.

"What's wrong?" He puts down his chopsticks and looks at her with worry in his eyes.

So he shouldn't mention this after all? Why is she spacing out again?

Her wondering mind returns and looks at him.

"You know I'm very strong, so that period of time went by very fast. There's nothing wrong with it." She smiles.

"..................." He remains silent.

Today, both are having things on their mind.

At night, for once he lets her watch what she wants on the TV, forgetting the drama he follows daily.

As he's thinking, the TV is suddenly reporting a news regarding the author Wen Siwoon's donation to the Sacred Heart orphanage.

"Woah, authors nowadays are so rich. But I guess he earns a lot from his writing. Does he really like children that much?" He tsked.

Children.......to be honest, he's not really good at dealing with them.

In front of the camera, the gentle looking author is smiling. All the children in the background are also beaming with happiness.

"I saw this person in the bookstore today." She purses her lips, staring at the screen.

He stops his train of thought and pays attention to her words.

"And then?"

"I felt.........something was not right."

"Did you see something around him?" he asks.

"No, nothing at all." She replies.

He looks at the screen. This is a very average looking man, he possesses no warmth or masculinity of a man, instead, there's something eerily cold about him. But, what did she feel?

"But, I don't like him.......how do I put it.......Look here and here........." She takes the tablet and points : "He didn't commit any crimes, or you can even call him a good person, but ........"

So, she was researching about him today.

Things are indeed getting weird.

He walks over and takes the tablet from her.

He sits down and embraces her, gently patting her back.

"Close your eyes and think closely. What is bothering you?"

She closes her eyes in his soothing embrace.

His thick scent envelops her and she begins to recall the small details from the bookstore.

"I remember that......he looked like a good person, but he's actually someone really evil." She replies with a muffled voice inside his arms.

"I saw the scars on the boy's wrist, I also saw......the boy was trembling in fear......"

He's startled and look into his arm.

She.......is afraid of something.
