WHAT?! The NPC was kidnapped by Captain Hook?

When they returned, Yuk-Gong starts to report what happened last night.

The tree house is in a mess. Her younger brother and all the priceless wines are gone.

Jin Seon Mi was shocked and declares that they must rescue her brother no matter what.

She really can't cope with the concept of NPC can she......

He feels like he was set up in a trap. That Tian-Shu guy promised that the brother was an important figure to progress the plot, but he didn't expect him.......to be kidnapped by pirates......

He originally wanted to just skip to the ending and finish. But right now, there's no way this story can finish without going through the entire plot.

Then he thinks again, the scenes with Captain Hook can be considered as the climax of the story. It may also help enhancing his relationship with her. Why not?

Therefore, they decided to fly to Captain Hook's pirate ship.

But then.........

HOW CAN THIS BE?!!!!

Are you for real?......Captain Hook slash towards him with his metal hook. He was planning to use a spell to K.O him straight away but he overestimated this Peter Pan's power.....

His staff is not here......

His fiery eye and golden pupils are not working.....

Spells.....? Nope......

Looking at the tough Captain Hook and all the chaos on the deck. The wind is howling and the waves beat on ship relentlessly.....wow, this is indeed scary and exciting. But, his spells are not working......

He then suddenly realize that this male main character is pretty useless......

But this realization came too late.

He, the great sage Son Oh Gong was bound in rope and got hanged onto the mast of the ship. Yuk-Gong is flying in the air, getting tossed around by the violent wind like a broken leaf. He's just a useless pillow. (LOL I mean he is just a plush hahaha). Because the brother is an NPC, he remained silent throughout the entire battle and has zero combat power. Captain Hook prepares a board on the side of the ship, ready to push them down into the sea of crocodiles below.....

In the end, Jin Seon Mi scrambles to her feet bravely. She picks up a sword and rolls up her sleeves, ready to fight.

This is so embarrassing........

The great sage is tied up like a mummy and couldn't get out of the ropes. Jin Seon Mi and Captain Hook are engaged in a messy fight on the deck. They broke the mast, sending Yuk-Gong crashing towards him and the NPC.

He grits his teeth in anger, swearing that he will shred the guy who sold him this book into pieces when he gets out.

In a fit of panic, Jin Seon Mi shouts the NPC's name. In that instance, a light flash across the silent NPC's eyes.

"Alright."

He takes over Seon Mi's sword and dashes towards the enemies, fighting skilfully.

The great sage is gobsmacked, how did things turn out this way? But his ropes are only half broken. He watches Jin Seon Mi as she's about to roll off the deck, into the mouth of the crocodile.......

The NPC pushed the Captain to the verge of the deck. Son Oh Gong still couldn't get out of his rope. He yells to Yuk Gong, but at the moment, a falling column smashes into Yuk Gong's head, sending him straight into the water.

He could only run toward her, but he his hands are bound and couldn't reach out to her.......

At that moment, she can see him jumping off the boat......straight into the crocodile's mouth....

At the exact moment, the NPC's sword cuts off Captain Hook's metal hook without mercy, sending Captain Hook rolling off the deck.

Without thinking, she throws herself off the side, hanging tightly onto......her fairy-nim.

He got woken up because someone's crying.

He opens his eyes.

He.....is lying under a peach tree.

His mind wanders back, the 11-year-old Jin Seon Mi is soaked. She holds him tightly while crying with ragged breaths.

Next to him is the NPC, the NPC returned to his silent state.

Yuk-Gong is fully drenched, there's a funny look leaf covering his head. Underneath that leaf, the cotton is probably poking out from the tear he received from that falling column.

"Oi.....Jin Seon Mi....I'm not dead yet."

"Fairy-nim........"

This time, she finally calmed down. Her tears and snots are dripping onto his clothes.

His head is resting on her knees. He sighs as he watches the tears continue to fall on him like raindrops.

But his heart is calm.

It seems like......he's always doing the opposite of what he wants.......he wanted to make her happy, but..... thing never goes the way he planned.

"Jin Seon Mi, where's all the bravery you had in the fight?" He jokes.

"You look ugly......"

Before he can finish his sentence, she flings herself onto him, hugging him like an octopus and choking the life out of him.

He stills for a moment.

He stretches his hand and gently pats her small back.

"Looks like I couldn't protect you after all." He looks toward the sky. He admits defeat to this messy and crazy plot.

She shakes her head and lifts her face,

"I can protect you!"

She speaks with absolute determination. He remembers how she picked up the sword and fought with the pirate.

She's always so cool. The silly woman that he loves dearly.......although she's always wearing layers and layers of black. But her lights still shine brightly. This is who she is.

He sits up, realizing his clothes is wrecked to the point beyond salvage.

He sighs and carefully wipes away her tears.

"Because you always wanted to protect me, you have changed me." He speaks in a faint voice, looking deeply into her eyes.

"I was very lonely, but after meeting you, I became less and less lonely..........today's dream will end. But we will wake up together, because......we are in the same dream. Remember, whether you are strong or weak, I will always be by your side. Because you protected me, I will protect you too."

The trees around them begin to glow. Blue lights up the entire world, it lights up Yuk-Gong, the NPC, him and her. It also lights up the ring on his finger and on her neck.

"Fairy-nim......"

She shouts his name out of panic.

"I'm here....."

He reaches out his hand, gentling enveloping her in his until the light expands and devours the entire world.
