Work part 2

Seon Mi is watching the woman who she is taking over for with an unsettled heart. The woman is the former assistant Gong Ae Jung.

What is this......sensation?

Although she can't detect any evil aura around her, but for some reason, there's a feeling that she is surrounded by.....some sort of unsettling sense of death.

The woman packs her personal belonging and lays them out nicely on the table. Her eyes dim as there are several other staffs standing by the door whispering and pointing at her.

There is no evil spirit around the woman, but this heavy sensation of gloom makes Seon Mi feel really uncomfortable.

The woman sometimes steals glances at the ring Seon Mi is wearing.

"I heard from assistant Han that you are getting married soon and you are only working here temporarily?" The woman states quietly, she lowers her eyes and continues,

"...I used to have a fiancé who loved me dearly as well...."

Used to?

There's an odd feeling in Seon Mi's mind but she follows along the conversation.

"Then you guys.....?"

Gong Ae Jung shakes her head,

"We.......broke up." And she lifts her head,

"Because I fell in love with someone else and he threw away our engagement ring........"

The way she speaks, it feels like.......she actually still have feelings for the other person???

"Miss Lilian, I really hope that you will never end up like me." Gong Ae Jung adds nonchalantly.

What???

The weird feeling immediately returns from her confusing sentences.

Gong Ae Jung gives her a nod and then proceed to take all of her items and exits the office.

Seon Mi gets up and goes to the door and sees that everyone is pointing and gossiping behind Gong Ae Jung's back as she walks down the corridor.

"So this is how this woman ended up."

"Don't be fooled by her innocent appearance, she will do anything to get what she wants. If she didn't play dirty and pulled strings to get to her position, she wouldn't have ended up like this today."

"She lost her job, even the man who engaged with her abandoned her. What a slut."

Seon Mi watches the group of people and has a strong urge to lash out and tell them to stop, but then she realizes that she doesn't know anything about Gong Ae Jung.

She doesn't know why she's so bothered by this but she really wants to ask other staffs about what happened to Gong Ae Jung.

But the afternoon was filled with busy schedules. She immediately enters into work mode and runs around attending events with Kim Bum Chul.

Mr. Kim really is popular amongst female, maybe it's because of his looks or perhaps it's his mannerism, or maybe he is a famous celebrity. Everywhere he attends is always surrounded by different types of female fans. His popularity is almost at its epitope. Yet, strangely, despite being surrounded by different people, he always manages to handle and socialize appropriately.......

In the afternoon they went to the filming ground for a variety show. This show happens to be one of 'someone's favorite, she also really likes it. She used her status as Mr. Kim's assistant and asked the production crew to get the HD files for the first 12 aired episodes.
