However, as soon as she finished cleaning up the table, she discovers that Oh Gong was already dressed, seemingly in preparation for going out. He wore a simple yet sophisticated black coat as he sat on the couch, hands interlinked. It was something he did often when in deep thought.  

"I have something to tell you." He said as soon as he laid eyes on her.

Ah, she knew it........

Despite his teasing, he's actually really.............tender-hearted. 

So she walked in front of the couch to sit down and lean her head on his knees.

For a moment in time, none of them said anything, and the couple silently basked within the shared warmth and peace.

"It's.....something serious, right?" She asked quietly.

"A little."

"Is it something you must do?"

"Probably."

"......Then, when you are in danger, would you call out to me?"

She raised her face to observe his well defined features.

He laughed deeply before reaching out to bring her face closer to his. "Why do you always want to protect me? I'm not that weak." His breath gently brushes across her face.

Although he spoke light-heartedly, she still felt very unsettled.

She knew that, Despite his flippant personality, he always stuck to his words no matter what. In fear of inciting her worry, Oh Gong always concealed any bad news.

However, the dragon king was too upset, distracted by his emotion, his spell failed. When Jade dragon was reborn, the failed spell back-lashed onto Jade dragon and therefore causing him to lose a minor soul. (Note: In Chinese myth, a complete human soul consist of 7 major and 9 minor souls. Also known as Qi Hun Jiu Po 七魂九魄) With incomplete soul, Jade dragon cannot heal. If he cannot regain that missing soul, this little baby will suffer and die after 49 days.

The dragon king's anguish caused a tsunami.

He used lots of treasures to bribe the underworld. He found out that the missing minor soul is the soul of love. It was lost 8 years ago. If Jade dragon dies this time, his soul will completely vanish from the world.

The dragon king cries in pain and took out a forbidden item: The phoenix's feather.

Whenever a phoenix reborn from the inferno, it will produce a phoenix's feather. This item allows you to travel back in time once.

In the entire world, only 3 of such feathers exist.

However, this item is too danger, and thus deemed as a forbidden item. Once you step back in time, even small changes can ripple through history.

They must use the phoenix's feather to travel back into time to search for the missing soul before the spiritual realm becomes aware of this. However, this is a serious task To travel back in time, that person must possess great power. When they go back, they are prohibited to stop in time and not allowed to change the history. Or else, they will face grave consequences. When they travel back, each and every second must be upheald by immense amount of power. Because they are reversing the time, the user will also be put under great strain. But, the thing is, they don't know the specific moment when Jade dragon lost his soul.

If the user gets lost in time, they would never be able to return.
