The waves gently beat on the sand on the beach.

He lies on the sofa lazily catching up with the latest episode of the new variety show 'House and Master'

He just finished watching the drama 'My golden life'. As she's more attracted to reading books, naturally, he gets to hog the TV all to himself.

The recent variety shows are fairly interesting. But human is so weak. All the funny gags and stunts they do are an easy task in his eyes. If he, the great sage Son Oh Gong attempted those tasks, he would finish them in seconds...........But, through watching TV and variety shows, he gets to observe how human behaviours and thinks. This is interesting.

But with her reading books on the table next to him is sort of distracting.

Just like now, his line of vision is slightly diverged from the TV, observing her quiet and gentle profile.

He would always use reasons like he's not well or his powers haven't recovered yet to trick her into staying at home to accompany him. She doesn't need to go to work anymore. They could spend their time leisurely. So comfortable to a point where they don't have to worry about anything.

He really wants to fulfill all of her wishes. It's not that he hasn't thought about doing it before. She really loves to read. He thought maybe he should create the biggest library for her. But thinking that she could be too immersed into her books and forget about him, he appreciated that their house is built small.

Just like this, he can look at her anytime.

She doesn't have to go to work, don't have to wear uniform and don't have to tie her hair up. She's very clumsy, she cannot distinguish her clothes from their giant shared closet and sometimes.......she would be wearing his clothes. Whenever she can't find something that suits her, she would just wear his long-sleeved shirt and walk around the house with the sleeves rolled up. This......is really testing his self-control.........she.........is way too attractive.

Sometime, he could just look at her so intensely that he would space out.

Fate is such a strange thing. Many decades ago, when he saw the young Jin Seon Mi walking into Marble Mountain, he would have never imaged that they would become like this.

He and she have walked a long path together.

He can see that she's really focusing on something, one moment she thinks hard, one moment she would space out. His lips slightly curve up.

Playfully, he extends his hand and blows onto his palm. His physical body remains stationary as if he's still watching TV, yet his soul transformed into a blue butterfly and lands onto her shoulder.

She remains unaware. She's always clueless to all the tricks demons could pull.

She's flipping through a very old looking calendar on the table.

There are beautiful handwritings on there. It records all of her works, schedules and dates every month.

She remains oblivious to the sound of the TV.

He's slightly surprised and then recalls. This must be from several days ago when she went to the library and back to her old house. He wanted to follow her there. Afterall, that place contains things she loves and it was her previous home.

Out the window, the sound of the waves splashing against the sands.

Her gaze lingers on the month of January.

As if she thought of something, she turns her head to look at home only to see that he's still watching TV on the sofa. She slightly glances back to the calendar.

As if she's determined, she quickly stuffs the calendar back into the drawer.

He heard an inaudible sigh from her.
