The Avengers are brought to their knees. The world around me is crumbling. Everyone I care about is in danger. Earth is under attack and not many of us are left to defend it.

I look around me and start to decide to go against Stark's orders or wait for the call.

🎶Thought I couldn't breathe without you, I'm inhaling
Thought I couldn't see without you, perfect vision
Thought I couldn't last without you, but I'm lastin'
Thought that I would die without you, but I'm livin' 🎶

My friends look at me with fear in their eyes. They're scared that they might die. I reassure them that everything is going to be fine.

"It's ok guys! It's...ok. I'm scared too. Just stay in place-" I say.

"CAN'T YOU SEE? The building is collapsing! We're going to get crushed! We need to leave!" One of them shouts.

I think to myself, "C'mon, Stark. Send them..."

I look at my backpack and contemplate again whether I should wait for the call.

I start getting nervous and tell them, "Someone's going to help us. We're going to get to safety. Just wait-"

"FOR WHO? WHO'S COMING FOR US? THE AVENGERS?! SPIDER-MAN?!?"

A sudden ring goes off. It came from my watch.

Karen's voice comes through. "Peter, there is an incoming distress call from Tony Stark."

I could see how shocked my friends were as the A.I. mentioned Tony Stark.

"Put him through," I commanded.

Attention: all Avengers, active and reserve, this is a priority one message. Wherever you are,  if you are receiving this, you are hereby called to ASSEMBLE.

"You're-"

"You're an Avenger?"

There was no need to conceal my identity any further from them. I had to save them.

THWIK!

I pull my backpack towards me and reveal my costume. "I know this is so sudden, but you guys need to cooperate with me. I'm going to get you out," I instruct, "Activate seismic webs."

SHWOOOSM!

I release the charge on the wall and create a crack at the center. My fist tightens and I punch through the wall. Stones fly out and dusts starts to fill the room. I could see the twilight in the sky. "RUN OUT!" I instructed, "I will call for backup right now."

🎶  I'm a survivor
I'm not gon' give up
I'm not gon' stop
I'm gon' work harder🎶

I swing out the building in full costume as I attempt to reach Avengers Headquarters' communications center. "This is Spider-Man. Can anybody copy? I heard the distress call and I am in need of assistance. Anybody there?" I call. Silence. I speak to Karen and ask, "Can you reach Tony?" "Negative. His com is out. The message he sent was recorded. Not live," she responded. "Crap."

My head buzzes then I hear a shriek.
I turn to look around and see my friends about to be crushed by an incoming taxi.

THWIP!

I push off the building I was perched on and flip forward. As I near myself, I can tell that I'm not going to save them in time with just webs. I think quickly and remember about the suit's new feature.

THWIP! THWIP! KSSSHHH!

I shoot two webs toward the ground and pull myself diagonally under the taxi in time to catch the incoming car with my new mechanical arms.
