After hell in my first three lessons of the day i meet up with Adam, Lucy and Luke at Lunch in our usual spot down by the school courtyard. The one place where no one goes but us.
"hey, Adam told us Mr Fletcher held you back after form, what happened?" Lucy asks
since i barely have lessons with them today except Adam who's in my french (but we sit on opposite ends of the classroom)... i haven't had the chance to tell them what happened.
"basically...."
"ooh, love stories" Adam says pulling out a bag of Doritos and sitting down with Luke and Lucy on the bench listening.
"okay...."i continued "basically, Mr Fletcher closed the door and stood in front to make sure i didn't try to escape his talk which meant it was a serious conversation. so then he started asking me about how i fit in class and how he thinks i hate everyone in our form except you guys"
"technically hes right" Luke interrupted
"yeah but technically he has no right to get involved especially when hes only ever taught me once...." i complain
"fair enough. so what did you say to him" Lucy asks as the boys stuff their faces with more Doritos.
"i asked him questions" i say snatching some Doritos from the bag
"questions like...?" Luke asked (well he said something along those lines...he had Doritos stuffed in his mouth so it was hard to tell what he was saying)
"like, why he thought i hate everyone and why he was concerned" i responded
"and...."Lucy said
"and he gave me a basic after school detention for me to discuss with him further"
Adam started laughing and said "haha what?!"
"An After school detention for basically nothing! that's mean!!" Luke said
"well its not exactly an after school detention but i describe it as one since i have no choice but to go.Totally unfair!"
"to be fair I'm glad" Lucy says
"glad, What!?" Adam questioned
"cuz that means you will stay after school and not go home to your horrible dad..."
"yeah but shes gonna get beat up or interrogated" Adam defended and i rather it be the latter
"hey don't worry about it Ashley, maybe he can understand if you explain" Luke says embracing me in a hug
"This is my dad we are talking about....the day he understands is the day I'm lying in my grave" i joke
"do you think Mr Fletcher knows about the scars and bruises" Lucy asks
"i think that's why he asked to see me after class, its the only explanation since he barely knows me."
"well do you think he knows anything about how you got them" Luke asked
"how would he?"Adam questioned
"we were talking in form about it, maybe he could hear what we were saying"lucy figured
"either he knows or he doesn't? i don't know what he thinks"
"what would you do if he did?" Adam asked
"i think you should tell him the truth Ashley"Luke replied
"he doesn't know me, he could go telling the head or someone, my dad would kill me"
"yeah but tho you hate him for the after school, if you think about it, the fact that he wants to talk to you about it alone kinda shows hes reliable right?" Lucy said
i guess they are right....Mr Fletcher did promise not to tell anyone about what was said after form but i still don't seem so sure.
"i don't know guys ill just see what happens after school"
"well we got to go to lessons the bells about to ring."Luke says
"since me and Luke have football after school we can come wait outside the classroom after school for you and walk home together" Adam replies. I nod in response.

imma start another new book soon publishing but no guarantees for finishing the book as anyone knows i have a habit of never finishing book when i say I'll finish them. i take longer then i say XD
