once English finishes i head out of class to go to my history lesson but i stop as i hear Jesslynne and Kara talking quietly near by the lockers where i was beat up yesterday. they didn't seem me.
"so you want me to beat that bitch up today?" Jesslynne asks
OMYGAWD i knew i shouldn't have trusted her apology
"No, i told you that wouldn't be necessary in form today"Kara responds
okay so maybe i underestimated her and spoke too soon but that means i have to watch out for jesslynne then.
"why?, you two besties now?" Jesslynne frowns. Jealousy.
"no i hate the bitch so much and she hates me too..." Kara's not wrong there "but we aint gonna keep at each others throats when we should just learn to tolerate each other"
"why should you?" jesslynne says annoyed
"does it matter why? plus we sit next to each other for English and maths....rather not have to go through what happened yesterday again in future" Kara admits
i know i can trust Kara now but i just need to sort out issues with Jesslynne. I walk to my lesson before they can spot me and start to plan what i can do to resolve this stupid argument with Jesslynne.
After history me and Lucy (shes in my class) head out to our usual spot on the courtyard for lunch. As we get there we see the boys are talking to Kara and Jesslynne. okay....
"there they are..." Luke says as Kara and Jesslynne usher us over to them
"I'm sorry for getting involved and for everything that happened yesterday Ashley" Jesslynne apologizes
"no so am i, yesterday shouldn't have happened" i reply
"shall we just like forget about what happened yesterday then" Kara asks
"yeah fine by me" me and Jesslynne agree
"what happened yesterday" Luke, Adam and Lucy question really confused.
Kara Jesslynne and i just giggle
"oh it was nothing" Jesslynne answers
"okay, well is that why you two came here" Adam asked
"yeah we figured Ashley would be here but also to give you all these" Kara replies handing each of us a rose gold envelope with a red ribbon tied.
"awesome.....what is it?" Luke says
"An invite" Jesslynne says
"yeah there's a party round my place tomorrow night and everyone got their invites. I wasn't going to give it to you and your friends Ashley after what happened yesterday but today morning i changed my mind" Kara finished
"thank you" Lucy said
"no problem just come to my house at 8 tomorrow and wear something nice its gonna be fun and pretty much everyone will be saying past morning and if you cant make it call me by the end of the day, my numbers on the invite" Kara said
"wow did you two organize it" Adam asked as he carefully took out the intricate invite from the envelope
"yeah but also with lots of help from the other boys and girls in our squad" Jesslynne answered
"oh is that why most of you weren't in lesson" i figured
"yeah its Thursday, today's lessons are irrelevant, all we want is our Friday fun to be perfect" Kara says high-fiving jesslynne softly to prevent any breakage of her acrylic nails.
"anyway gtg, we have some few final invites to give out for the nerdies who we totz doubt would come but its worth a shot" Kara laughs holding about 20 invites in her hand.
"ha good luck with that they do homework for fun not Parties" i replied
"well thanks for the invites" Adam said waving them off.
Phew that's me and Jesslynne sorted.
Now i have one problem. Dad.
there's no way hes gonna let me go to the party. And i really want to cuz...
a) my friends will go so i wont have to worry about talking to the other groups of people
b) i want to spend as much time i can possibly get away from home and this is a night till morning party which is perfect
c) great way to spend a weekend cuz I've never had a happy weekend
d) its a party organized by the populars... meaning its gonna be amazing no matter how much i find the vain.
e) its a party. why not go?
im gonna have a hard time trying to convince him to let me go but im sure i can manage it. maybe i can go out and buy some bottles for the wine cellar that he can help himself to. i'm going to that party end of. challenge accepted.
