Adam's POV:
Friday Evening. It's getting really late now.
After spending what felt like an hour in questioning we head over to the car park.
I climb into the back seat of Luke's car as they both enter the front seats. Luke starts the engine and drives towards the exit.
"Do you think our statements will be enough?" Lucy wonders
"we've done all we can. Surely it's enough" Luke responds.
I hate having to worry so much. It kills me.
"Well, moving on....Are either of you gonna tell me whether you guys are dating or not?" i questioned
they exchange looks and Lucy turns to look at me not knowing what to say. Me? i just smirk back and Luke just continues watching the road like nothing happened.
"Well....?" i urge
"Umm...no?" Luke says while Lucy says"yes"
"i mean " "yes" "Luke changes at the same time as Lucy's "No"
"well which one is it guys?" i laughed
"we're just good friends right luc ?" Luke said
Lucy just nods turning the radio volume slightly louder.
Yep they're totally dating just not public yet.
"On a different note....whats with school?" i asked
Ever since Ashley's incident, the school's been closed all week apparently for the student's own safety but the real truth is because the media has been getting involved with the school and the police are investigating there as well as asking teachers what they know.
....and Obviously everyone from school is happy about a week off school.
"My mother says school should be open next week since the investigation there came to an early close." Lucy said. Her mother is close friends with our school principal Mr Cantorum so she knows basically anything going on at school.
"How come it came to an early close." i asked
"they were only able to get evidence from i think 2 or 3 teachers and also took some CCTV footage....other than that, there was nothing else they could use as evidence" she answered
Wow.
"well as school is opening next week, hopefully Ashley will be able to come back by then" Luke hoped
"yep.Hopefully." i agreed.
