Adam's POV:
After exiting the hospital i call myself a taxi to drop me off at my house...it's the last thing i want to do knowing Mr Thorpe could be torturing Ashley any second now but what else am i supposed to do.
INCOMING CALL : CALLER ID : LUKE
"Luke?" i pick up
" nah its luc, you okay?" Lucy spoke. I could hear noises from the background so im guessing they're on speakerphone
"Yeah im not too bad" i respond
"have you had the chance to see Ash yet?" Luke yelled in the distance
"Yeah im just leaving the hospital now, she's awake and keeping strong but she is in so much pain and her dad has left her in a horrible state" i spoke
"oh my poor girl - i cant believe Mr Thorpe would go this far" Lucy worried
"ha well i can- he better be sent down for this" Luke replied
"I don't think he will...i was forced to leave because her dad is visiting her right now" i admitted
"HE'S WHATT?!" they yelled
"I know right....there's nothing i can do but im hoping he doesn't do anything especially since there are cameras everywhere" i assured
"Thank Goodness for that" Luke sighed
"when she gonna be discharged?" Lucy asked
Oh shit i completely forgot about asking that.
"I have no idea sorry Luc, but i can visit tomorrow. Come with me both of you....she would love to see you guys."
"Yeah sure, just text me when" Luke replied
"Okay guys I've gotta go, see you tomorrow" I replied as i noticed my taxi arriving.
"Okay bye Adam, take care" Lucy replied before ending the call.
I enter the Black Volvo xc40 belonging to a tall bearded tanned man with a very strong accent.
"Where d'ya wanna go pal"He greeted
"Hey mate, could you take me down to Hill-wood Avenue"
"Yeah sure" the driver replied setting his GPS to the address before starting the engine.
He turns the radio on just as a Drake song ends and the news comes on.
"As Ashley Thorpe is still on her road to recovery police have come close to ending the investigation..." the female correspondent speaks
" wait what...." i mumble
"you okay mate?" the driver asks
"umm ye, could you turn the sound up on your radio?" i requested. He turns the sound up pretty high and drives on.
"After a long nights work police have been looking for sufficient evidence and possible leads to keep David Thorpe in jail before the 24 hour custody is over. They have now found proof to keep him in jail for domestic violence before a trial is held." A male correspondent speaks
