That look on her face, mesmerized me. I watched her like she had the stars in her hands and moons at her feet. I wanted to wrap her in my arms and never let her go. Jeez....... you are crazy Dev!

I quickly slide my business card in her palms and walked away before I would do something stupid. I didn't know if she would call me or not, but all I could do was to hope. At least she would know that it was me whom she had been talking all the way long.

Poor girl....she would have gotten a mini heart attack when she reads that card!

Natasha stomped back inside her apartment with a frown on her face. She was really in a bad mood as all her plans of meeting the singer-come-model Dev Sharma went in a failure! The minute she stepped inside her apartment, she noticed a depressed Sona, sitting inside the living room.

"NATS! What have you done? Do you know what you did?" Sona gasped once she spotted Natasha and walked towards her angrily.

"What is wrong with you? Why are you over-reacting now?" Natasha spat.

"Over-reacting? You know what you did? You didn't pay the bill at the restaurant! How could you just dump me there....in an unknown place without even thinking about me Natasha? You knew that I didn't want to follow you, but you still forced me to.... and then......how could you just ditch me there?" Sonakshi asked as she was truly broken and hurt by her friend's actions.

"Oh come on! Don't act like a damsel in distress now! You are at least out of the restaurant now.....right? I forgot to pay and I totally forgot that you wouldn't have money..... Tsk... Who asked you to be a careless person and break your phone? I thought you would call me......but later only.... I realized that you didn't have a phone" Natasha spoke without any regrets.

"I called you so many times! Because of you....... I had to almost give away my mom's chain you know?"

"Thank god! You at least had something which you could give in return" Natasha giggled as Sona's anger grew but she just decided to keep quiet.

The harsh scent of drink could be smelt from her body and Sona instantly knew that Natasha was drunk. Deciding to end that matter, Sonakshi helped Natasha to walk to her room and settled her there before returning to her room.

The next morning Natasha woke up and had her breakfast as usual. Not even once, she tried to apologize to Sonakshi. As usual, she taunted Sonakshi for being weak and acting as a victim. With a sour face, Natasha left the house early.

Just when Sonakshi decided to take some rest, the house phone rang. She sighed and lazily picked it up.

"Hello sexy-lady...." Karthik's sultry voice creeped up her skin.

"H-heello?" she answered, unsure of her own voice. He was the last person she wanted to hear from, for that day.

"Are you thinking about me right now baby?" he spoke as her eyes widened. His tone and words were laced with lust and it just disgusted Sona to the core. She hated how difficult the situation was and quickly found reasons to avoid that call.

"Karthik, I have to go..... Can I call you back later? I have some important class to attend in a few minutes."

"Oh that's what you said yesterday? But you know what? ...........there was no call!" his voice grew angrier as Sonakshi's face paled.

"Karthi-"

"So........where were you last night b!tch?" he spat as Sona sucked in a sharp breath.

"Na-Natasha......brought me out for dinner...........and it got late.....s...soo" I stammered as yesterday's events brushed through my mind. I still couldn't get Dev's image out of my mind and now, Karthik's voice just brought me back to reality.
