The votes for the previous chapter made me faint😂 Thank you sooo much!

"Where are you coming from?" she didn't need to be told who it was. Without even turning behind, she recognized his cold voice.

"Just leave me alone Dev!" she pulled her hands harshly and slammed the doors shut.

---------------------------------

"Sona!!! Open the fucking door!" he yelled as his fists banged on his fiberglass door.

He couldn't hear anything she said since everything was soundproof. His body radiated his anger as he screamed for the servants to bring the keys for him. It was half an hour since Sona locked herself inside. She wasn't ready to listen or open the doors.

"You have to give her some time Dev.... She is not at the right state of mind now" Asha tried speaking but Dev's anger was at his peak. He wasn't in the position to listen to people.

"If there's anyone you need to give advices, then it would be your wonderful student aka daughter in law!" he shrieked as Asha blinked in surprise.

"But Dev.... Let her explain and come out from her terrified state na-"

"I can't take her bullshit anymore! How dare she slam the door on my face? This is my fucking house! I am supposed to be angry on her, but here, she is showing me her attitude? How many times have I tried explaining to her that she's not supposed to go out there and loiter around. Does she even listen to me?" he screamed, ruffling his hair with his fingers.

Both of them were still standing outside the room. Asha knew that Dev's screaming was useless because Sonakshi couldn't hear their conversation due to the sound-proof room she was in.

"She isn't showing attitude Dev! It's her automatic response to actions around her. She shuts herself quite easily and doesn't share things like us. Trust me.... In a few minutes time, she will regret it." Asha tried calming Dev, but he wasn't convinced the least.

"Don't try and support her maa. She exactly knows what she's doing!"

"No Dev.... She doesn't. I have seen it in her eyes Dev..... I have seen her trying hard to adjust here. Trying to speak out....... I have seen the way she looks at you. She....... She just wants to try, but it's not working" Asha tried explaining but Dev just dodged it.

"Whatever, once the door opens, I am going to show her who I really am!" he yelled.

Just as he was speaking, the maid brought the key to his room. Panic dreaded in Asha's face as she feared for the worst to happen. Dev's anger was his biggest flaw and only Asha knew how ugly it could get. He never took the best decisions when he was in anger.

Once the room was open, Dev stormed off inside and shut the doors behind him.

"Sonakshi!" he yelled, when he saw her sitting at the corner of the room. His anger knew no bounds when he saw the broken tea cup on the side of his bed.

How dare she breaks things in my room?

Her knees were brought up to her face and her face was swollen with tears. Once she saw Dev, she turned her face away and clutched her dress tightly.

"Get up!" he said, standing infront her. But another sob wracked her, followed by a thin wail. She curled up on her side and wept. Her shoulders heaved as she refused to see his face.

"I said get up!" he tugged her arms harshly and jerked her towards his body. While getting up, Sonakshi's hands hit the lamp on the side and started bleeding. But Dev was far too gone in his entire anger.
