"Oiiiii grandma! I promised this seat to the air-hostess" he frowned while Sona threw the bag on his lap and sat next to him. Dev's eyes widened as he threw murderous glares at Arjun.

Arjun was stuck between the two of them. Shaking his head with dismay, he placed the eye mask and laid back on his seat.

It was going to be a long journey!

Sona was gazing at the passengers in the flight while Arjun was snoring away. Dev was still restless as he took a sneak-peak at Sona once in a while. Although the distance between him and her wasn't much, his heart sank heavily when she refused to even look at him.

He was being ignored. He hated it, but at the same time he knew he deserved every single punishment she was giving him. Her silence was like a slow poison, killing every single part of him in instalment. Sighing defeatedly, he took out his laptop and tried to distract himself by doing some work.

Sonakshi shuffled in her position. Her back felt stiff from sitting for too long . Leaning towards the side, she unconsciously leaned on Arjun's shoulders. But the next minute she felt his head leaning on her head as well. Her heart almost skipped....not in a positive way.

"Woah, what are you doing?" she whisper-shouted as Arjun laughed at her shocked face.

"I know I am going to be dead one way or another....why not enjoy the most out of it?" he asked with a playful smile. Sonakshi punched his sides and quickly woke up. Although she wanted to act annoyed with him, she couldn't help the smile that left her lips.

"You know...... if nobody kills you, then I may!" she huffed and laid back on her seat.

"You know.....don't smile too much. Your husband would skin me alive.... He is already throwing fire balls through his eyes." Arjun mumbled in a low tone, making Sona's smile widen.

"I am not scared. If you are, then change your seat with someone else." She chuckled.

"Good idea. I will change it with Dev... Looks like he can't wait to sit next to you." Arjun spoke and gathered his things in his hands.

"Arjunnn" she huffed in frustration. The last thing she wanted was to travel with Dev and spoil her mood. After all, she would be stuck with him all the time in London. She didn't want another fight in the plane.

"Okok...fine" Arjun smiled and placed back his eye mask.

Dev looked at them talking and giggling between themselves. That was the worse thing that has ever happened to him. He inhaled a deep breath and pursued his lips to prevent himself from storming towards the next seat and carry his wife back to his place. He wondered what they were talking as every time Arjun uttered something, Sona's face would light up brighter than before.

He was jealous. Extremely jealous that she was able to talk and laugh freely with everyone else except him. But could he blame her for that? He was never open to her as well. For her to be carefree with him, he must be transparent towards her as well. But that never happened in their relationship. Dev knew where the root of the problem lies at. He wished he could change himself, but it was far from his character.

He looked up and saw Sonakshi smiling at Arjun. The kind of smile which warmed his heart. But the next minute, everything crushed his heart because he knew that he would never be able to put that beautiful smile on her lips for the longest time. One time she was happy and the next minute, he would break that by uttering something stupid.

Dev sighed and sank back on the seat.

No longer he had to think about the hooligans, stalkers or mafia gangs who were hunting for Sona's life. Finally, everything ended, but the life awaiting at home terrified him more. If he was going to keep things from Sona all the time, then the problems arising was going to be inevitable.
